Good question. If you are quick enough you can turn your camera to see behind you and turn your character on the direction Tigrex is gonna take but tbh I generally just trust my guts lol
Load shells. There is an armor skill called load shell which allows you to fully charge even at yellow state. Though you need load shell lv2 for it to work
also after a regular block half the time it lets me SAED, half it doesnt...can anyone tell me what that depends on? always had shield charged, phials loaded and thought it might depend on the hits impact, but even if it knocked my char back like in these scenes, it didnt always let me SAED. kinda lost here...
Since I can't really see you play I can't a good picture of your situation. What I would say is that it takes time to pull out this move and it's ok if you miss, it happens all the time. The more you use it, the better you will get the hang of it
@@Vector_V well my issue is that he doenst even use it at all. like what has to be met in order for my char to use the SAED after blocking? do i need a charged shield? does the hit im blocking have to be strong enough to knock me back? its not about aim or anything, i simply dont know how it properly works and why it sometimes lets me do it and sometimes doenst(all of these times with charged shield+full phials)
Ok I see. You need one level of guard minimum, you also need your charged shield that is if you want to block the attack. To lead tigrex into doing the charge, you need to stay in front of him and a little bit far from him, it will force Tigrex to do the attack Now you just wait for him to run into you and guard point and immediately start an SAED in the direction he's going to return from. I will also advise using counter morph slash since it gives you a longer guard point window.
After blocking you need to press X and A, the same thing for doing regular SAED. Also you're not blocking Tigrex, you are guard pointing. Guard point is ZR and X

You need to look at the arm Tigrex raises when it starts the charge. The return direction will be on the side of the raised arm.

I haven’t played charge blade in rise yet, and I am confused how did you get 5 vials with yellow blade at 1:17?

Isn't rajang CB way better than rampage CB with this kind of playstyle? Longer green sharpness with no negative affinity.
Yeah it's true but this run was just to test the rampage Charge Blade
But Rajang CB has no layered weapon so you are stuck with that bulky weapon.
Sometimes fashion over performance is the way to go haha
the weapon is so fugly that sometimes you gotta make do with fashion lol

Of course, Yes. It caused me to do less damage on all my hits except for the phials hit.

I can't do that. If you put affinity+, the attack will drop so it becomes even worse
use a fighter palico to help buff affinity
