I hate when you need the monster's attack to hit you, it always misses, but when a BS move that doesn't look like it will hit, but suddenly connects. Hitbox sucks, bro...
I was doing the barioth arena quest with charge blade and this happened all the time. It would do its big jump attack, I would use the counter and then it would land in such a way that I was between its legs, but didn't trigger the counter.

i hate his hitboxes i have a really counter heavy playstyle of the charge blade and i get fcked over so many times by guard pointing and his initial attack missing but the follow up attack hitting lmao normal valstrax no problem his hits dmg is alright but with the advanced one from event quest i always die atleast once because of this >
What's the button combination to consistently get the vertical - horizontal - horizontal x infinite combo with the empowered axe? Intuitively it seems like it would be X - A - A - X - A - A - X - A - A etc. but it never comes out as fluid for me when I try it this way

I think that distance doesn't justify the wirebug dash, just rolling is better
I'm using the dash to hyperarmor through the attack and proc Dragonheart, so I can get back fast in the action and not lose my CSS.
to be honest, it looks easy but try doing those AeDs, it's really hard.
