I love the switch axe bro

You can switch scroll and go back to your red scroll, it will deactivate berserk. But ideally, you wanna have berserk lv 2 since the HP drain is a lot less and also you want to have the skill "bloodrite" which heals you whenever you hit a broken part of the monster.

To get 4 wirebugs, you need the skill "Frenzy Bloodlust". It's a skill you find on Risen Shagaru Magala's armor but you can also get it via qurio augmentation

Actually I was using evade window. There is skill called "embolden" that gives you both evade window and guard depending on the level. Embolden lv1 = evade window 1 + guard 2 Embolden lv2 = evade window 3 + guard 3 Embolden lv3= evade window 5 + guard 5 Embolden is amazing since it's cost efficient. 3 lvls for both instead of 10 lvls, you see? However, embolden only activate if the monster is targeting you, so I wouldn't recommend it in multiplayer since it will become useless for most of the time.

In sum, LS has 5 counters, Switch Axe has 1. LS can use different counters back to back like a combo, LS counters have barely any cost to them, LS counters give you invincibility, and last but not least, some LS counters can be cancelled and chained back into another counter🙃🙃 like why???💀💀💀 Also LS does more damage than switch axe and is faster and fluider and easier to use.

When you do the combo is your Shield spinning like a chainsaw? If yes, then you might be pressing the elemental discharge button which makes you deplete phials as you also gain phials so you which might make it look like you don't get any phials. That's why it's important to use the upswing attack from time to time in the combo.

Yes, i was executing the same moves which is both rising slash and overhead slash, i'm just new to rise though, still HR and haven't bought sunbreak yet.

Mhmm that's weird ( you don't need Sunbreak for that issue). Plz can you record maybe a 20s-30s clip of you trying the combo on the training dummy and send it to me through google drive or something?

I like your thoughts on MHWI version of swaxe and I can definitely agree with that, it feels like each mode has its own purpose and I do wish Rise had that (the axe mode in Rise is pretty much useless and so is downward slam buffs) I prefer Rise version of swaxe, it feels more fluid (like you said) but my biggest reason is that Rise swaxe can morph in different direction. MHW swaxe can only morph forward or backwards and it definitely took me some time to get used to it LOL. I prefer the freedom of movement that Rise swaxe has.

2 palamutes is OP. If used right, they can, on average deal 10% of the monster HP on their own

Honestly, In MHRise there is only one combo for the Switch Axe and it goes like this: - in Sword Mode, do a DOUBLE SLASH by pressing A or Circle or B depending your console, - then press ZR or R2 or RT to do a MORPH DOUBLE SLASH - after which you press ZR or R2 or RT to do MORPH SLASH that will bring you back to Sword Mode - and you repeat the same process by pressing A to do a DOUBLE SLASH. Nintendo switch: A -> ZR -> ZR-> A ... PlayStation: O -> R2 -> R2 -> O ... XBOX: B -> RT -> RT -> B ... Tips: you mostly wanna be in Sword Mode when fighting; switch to Axe Mode when you have to mode around or get close to the monster. That combo above is when the monster is down or gives you a good opening since the combo is quite long and you can't evade during it.
