I am amazed by your videos and on how you perfectly time your counter, i have few questions tho:
1. What is your camera settings, i always find myself like stuck in a weird angle when fighting and i feel like my field of view is so little even if it is maxed on settings?
2. How can you cancel your basic attacks to the counter attack really fast, i find it annoying that sometimes i get knocked out because my character wont stop with the basic combos to enter the counter move. It is infuriating most of the times.
3. Lastly how are you not dying lol! if i try this being upfront the monster, i'll be dead in few hits lol

2. Lemme clear something up, you don't cancel attacks with the counter. The only reason you could do the counter is because the attack's animation was over in the first place. In your case, I think it's because you overcommit. You attack the monster like he was immobile. If you pay attention to my videos, I attack the monster, but I'm always ready for when he will move; I take breaks here and there to observe the monster.
3. Unlike popular beliefs, you don't wanna be upfront with the monster...at least to a certain extent. You don't wanna be all up in the monster's face. You wanna attack but also give yourself space to figure out the monster's next move.

Absolutely incredible run! Was the regular Arena the most favorable choice for this run?
No the Arena wasn't my favorite choice, the forlorn would have been better since you can take more than 1 Wirebug there. However I took Arena because the previous world record holder did it in the arena and my pride wouldn't allow me to beat his time just because I got a better area. I wanted to beat him at his own game to prove I'm better.

Is crit eye not important for swaxe like other weapons? I know that the phial explosion can't crit but morph attacks from our loop combo can right ?
He gets 50 from weakness exploit 25 from bloodlust and 20 from foray

Mhmm let's back up a little
Magna SwAxe and Chameleos SwAxe are 2 different things.
_Magna SwAxe does blast so it's better against monster weak to blast like Valstrax.
_Chamaleos does poison so it's better on monster weak to poison.
The key is to be able to activate your status as often as possible for the sake of Buildup Boost.
Now I used the Chameleos SwAxe on Scorned Magnamalo because he is not very weak to element and he is also "RESISTANT" to "BLAST" so my only option is "POISON".

Yes, scorned magnamalo is not very weak to element (even charge blade has a hard time hitting above 800), plus he's only weak to elemental on the back legs (when he's enrage, he's no more weak to element at all). That's why the best way to fight scorned magnamalo is Raw.
