- Today I cover the iPhone 13 Clear Case with MagSafe made by Apple. Make sure you stay to the end cause I actually don’t recommend this case and I explain why.

This case did not yellow
The fact it hasn’t yellowed after that long is the selling point for me
Yeah it hasn’t yellowed at all!
If you don’t mind having a slim case you should just buy a fully polycarbonate(PC) case. It won’t change color over time.

I have this on my 13 Pro now. I’ve always had a major love/hate relationship with this case, and clear cases in general. I love how they look but get dirty incredibly quickly. I do still use it though I just clean it once a week.
How do you have the subject of the opening below, has the phone been scratched a lot?
I used the silicone case for my Iphone 11 Pro. No scratches after 3 years. The micro fiber cloth on the inside is protecting against scratches.

I mean it’s not that bad I just like the fact that the case hasn’t turn yellow and in the beginning it was slippery but I got use to it’s not bad trust I love it 😀
I’ll make an addendum to my statement. If you take your phone out the case and consistently clean it then you shouldn’t have to worry about your phone scratching
@@AndrewClare exactly. Cleaning your phone and the case on a regular basis is the key to prevent dust from getting underneath.
Daily is the best option!
You’re defo just careless😂😂😂because how can a original apple case scratch the phone?😭😭my cases are from otter box & Amazon & there isn’t one scratch on the side of my 13 pro max !! Defo getting this case tho seeing as it basically never yellows

In my personal experience the only clear cases that I have used that are not prone to getting dust inside of them are the Tech21 line of cases.

Yeah I noticed the dust and bits getting underneath the case as well.
It was awful actually and tbh people put cases on their phones to protect them from getting scratched up.
I’d recommend esr magsafe case instead.
It does go yellow after a fes months but it’s cheap and I’ve never had dust get under it.
The magnet is really strong as well (too strong sometimes and will pull my Car mount off lol)

@@borisdg I’ve found that this is worse because of the open grill at the bottom and inflexible plastic materials.

Im scared that the hard plastic will scret h the sides of my phone (i have the 14 pro max) my iphone X got scratches on the sides for whatever reason and im scared that’ll happen with that case
I just bought one on sale 😭, ive had 3 (non offical apple ones) so far and all yellowed up and its annoying. Its hard to find hardshell cases for iphones nowadays, most transparent cases are TPU which yellows after like 2 weeks

What environment are you in when Dust SCRATCHES Stainless steel??? And Why isnt your screen destroyed if the case made those scratches.

It’s more so if you don’t clean the case. Debris gets in after sometime. What do you mean screen? The phone is covered on the back

My problem is the case has no grip! it’s slick as glass and my hands don’t work as good as they once did

Sand can cause scratches. I'm not sure how dust does. In theory it shouldn't. I've been rocking the umber leather case for three months. Highly recomended.
Yeah maybe dust isn’t the best word. More like particles. Umber is amazing! I have it as well.
Damn that suck. I want a clear case for my 13 mini and there's not a lot of good options. Bought a cheap one in the mall when I got my iphone but the case is fucked already (obviously).

The only cases I use are the ones that have a soft material that grips onto the phone, I used to use Supcase but their cases are hard plastic so it would damage my iPhone or Galaxy, now I only use Spigen
It’s not scratch it just dirty clean it n it goes away all case is like this take it out the case n clean your phone from time to time

Brought one and dropped my phone and the screen protector glass actually scratched my side as it went through the cover😭 kinda regret buying it

Hi thanks for the review, the only thing that attracts me is the fact that it hasn't yellowed but its so expensive to get scratches, do you know another full pc case that doesnt yellow that you like better than this?
I’d say this is probably the best clear case option
Rhinoshield doesn’t yellow from my experience and I used it for a whole year

It won’t scratch until you take off your case, that’s another reason why it’s open at the bottom so dust falls out, pointless video
@@AndrewClare every case collects dust this one just happens to show it bc it’s clear but it only really collects on the edges you have to look for the dust to find it, every apple clear case is a tiny bit loose so the dust won’t scratch it (there’s a bit of flex) and also you should mention the PROS, this case has a coating that won’t have it scratch so easy compared to other polycarbonate cases bc pc naturally scratches very easy but has 200 times impact resistance compared to glass, and imo it’s durability is greater than silicone or leather, I’ve used all apple cases for half my life and silicone gets ruined after the smallest slit bc it peels like crazy and leather literally loses chunks when dropped, this case wins for me bc heavy drops only cause small cracks that I usually can’t feel when I glide my finger on it, oh yeah and it never yellows lol 😎

The dust gets under the gap.
I have one and within a day you can see the dust moving up from the bottom.
If the dusts hardness is more than the material Of your phone (like sand) it’ll scratch it.
It would be a disaster at the beach

@@AndrewClare I picked up the Speck Persidio Perfect Clear with MagSafe for 24.99 at my local Best Buy, I couldn’t believe how much of a steal that was so I bought it. Definitely recommend it, no fingerprints on it and it’s allegedly anti-yellowing

Yes there is scratching. If you don’t clean it. And I would go with leather or silicone

Does the case scratches on the inside when you put the phone in or take it out? I have this trouble with some cases because they have scratches on the inside from putting the phone in or taking it out the case. I have the 13 mini so I don't care about scratches on the sides since it's aluminium. Thanks in advance for answering. I'm really interested in this case since it doesn't yellow over time 😄.
Yeah there’s definitely scratches on the inside of the case.
Maybe it was not scratches, just dirt. I have been using the same case for 1 year, the corner side of phone seems like yours, but it was dirty not scratched up

@@Anonymous-mu5bl the clear case is made of a hard material and when particles gets into the case it rubs onto the phone which scratches the bezel. It won’t scratch the back or the screen obviously but the bezel scratch. Again, all is in the video. The case is not good. Highly recommend the silicone case and leather case.

This is specific to iPhone 12-13 due to the bezel. Other iPhone models may be fine

They do. But the case is a hard shell mixed with dust causes scratches.
I’m using a leather case. They get dust in them but never noticed scratches.
