You guys are 100% correct. People who don't do this type of work don't understand that you can't grade mud. During the winter it doesn't dry out enough to plant grass seed properly.
A little hint on opening them valves back up. Always crank it back down a turn or two so the valve doesn't seat to the top. And it doesn't impead the flow enough that it's ever a problem. 👍
By far the best video I seen man, you showed the leak from literally from start to finish, I do this work every day in Cali so sick! Great video and great content keep it up brotha !
Love these vids. I work for the water company in Morgantown Wv. I like the idea of taking a trailer with you with parts. That makes a lot more sense then us having to go back into our shop. Stay safe.
even your graded mud is better than our local water department back fills holes they dig. they leave them dirt piles for months to settle in on their own over time, and usually have to dig hole 2-3 times before getting leak fixed. I have seen them let water leak down road for 2 weeks before they attempt to fix. "GO Tornadoes"
That kid with the light on his forehead looks just like a guy I worked with up in Lincoln. He was a laborer and his first name was Davey. He was from Taylorville. Is his Dad named Davey ??
The guys and I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and happy new year!

I wish more city guys had your 3’s attitude. Seems like a great crew to work for.

That's Derek, his dads name is Robert
