- Driveway "big" pour after a main break. One of Zac's last days with us.. He runs a fulltime lawn maintenance business and was getting behind on his own work. He will still be seen in videos because he's my nephew and we do a lot of interesting things together!

Yea i would have drilled some holes and pinned in rebar to hold it there during freeze thawing in spring and winter but you did use microfiber mixed in the batch. As for brooming you just following the same direction as the old concrete was finished there is no real right or wrong Tim top to bottom or side to side you broom to keep from sliding when its wet.
As for brooming just get on it when its feels tacky on your fingers ALWAYS spray your broom with water first shake it off a bit then finish it that way it wont chatter on ya like it did dry. As always you did good job my guys are same down here don't do alot of concrete but they get better and better with each one they do now 😅

Yeah he worked with us throughout the winter while he was slow. He's a busy kid and I'm very proud of him. I'd like to video some of his stuff as he runs non-stop!

We poured over flowable fill, other side didn't have any reinforcement so we used microfiber. You got me on the broom finish. Lol
