Any heights that I ever reach in my Blues guitar playing journey or guitar playing journey in general...any smooth gigs or live performances for the rest of my time here on earth....I owe to this man....my first ever long distance/online instructor going back about 8 years now. I just could not be more thankful for ever having come across him 🙏🏼

Thanks Griff - super helpful. I play flute, and rhythm has always been my weakest area. I know my pentatonics, and this lesson has really given me a good direction and place to start soloing over 12 bar blues. I will work on this and check out your website. Thank you!

20:18 Aren't you supposed to play major pentatonic over the tonic chord THEN switch to the minor for the other two? or is that B.S.?

That is one way to approach playing over a blues, but it's not the "base" level of sophistication, as I like to call it. It's a great sound and very common, just not the only option.

Handling Chord Changes When You Solo Over A Blues, is a lesson I'm working on from about three years ago and want to ask , what "aiming" for the notes of the chord that coincide with the scale of the one chord, means . Is it that any of the scale notes can be used but the phrase must end, on one of those notes, or does it mean only those notes can be used for the whole phrase.

Couple different "a-ha" moments happened during this lesson. Now I know what you meant......
