I know your pain, Tarra. My wife passed 5 years ago now. I found a little restaurant close by that serves a good Thanksgiving buffet, so I've been going there the last few years since I don't have any family or close friends close by. Miss those big family Thanksgiving and Christmas get togethers we use to have. 😟
I'm so happy our God has plans for all of us and His love and mercy have no bounds. His love is bigger than any mountain we could ever face. Thank ya'll for sharing your Thanksgiving. I'm elderly, disabled and mostly homebound. I spent Thanksgiving alone, and only had a bowl of chicken soup because I have a broken ankle and can't stand long to cook. It warmed my heart to see ya'll making Thanksgiving meal and made me smile to see you load your plates the North Carolina way. I miss the mountains, I lived in the Boone area for some years, and have so much enjoyed watching ya'll For a year or so. Lastly thank you for Honoring God, which is what Thanksgiving is about.

We used to hunt upland and migratory game birds, quail, dove, pheasant on Thanksgiving, for the same reasons you stated. I'm thankful for all provision that God supplies. God bless you all, and I hope the hubby bagged some game.

It's so nice to see family traditions in families. Since my children we small on Thanksgiving a daddy deer hunting morning with the kid's took place. I cooked they hunted. Now my son continues this tradition with his boys.
Thanks for sharing girls. I didn’t cook or partake this year so seeing all the tasty food has me salivating. It’s so true as the years go by families go off in separate directions or parents die and what we remember as family gatherings and all the food becomes less and less. I learned to make all mama’s dishes(and we had an abundance) and am my happiest when I can cook and share. I’m so thankful for your girl’s channel and your mama’s channel…it brings me home again.

Now I live in Canada but I never go through the American Thanksgiving without celebrating. So I wish you the best because the celebration you have shown is like paradise to me. Daughter is dating a (young man we love) hunter and he came to be with us all gathered in South Dakota for Thanksgiving. He went out hunting pheasant the day after (and got the daily limit quickly). As we drove around in the country to see old friends, he was scoping out all the places he'd like to go hunting. It's a thing Austin understands, y'all understand. I like knowing that if daughter marries this young man, he can keep them fed by hunting, need-be. THANK YOU for another good video! 🙌🏼

I know this video will be a blessing for folks who don’t have family near or have to stay home alone today. I don’t have much family & live alone, but I drove to the next town & had a great meal & fellowship with my daughter, her husband & my 5 yr old granddaughter. My daughter’s husband’s parents drove in from the Mississippi Delta. My daughter’s back yard is a deep slant & I fell down & rolled all the way down to the end of the yard. I wasn’t hurt but my 71 yr old body may be stove up tomorrow. That was the best laugh I have had in a long time. I could just imagine how my senior citizen self looked rolling down the hill 😂 I was only worried that I had maybe rolled over some dog poop. I hope Olive got some Turkey! Sending hugs to you both!

I wasn't expecting to hear the men folk were off to hunt and have a meal, then come home. But I live in southern California. I absolutely understand the logic behind it. I was also impressed with Austin going hunting with "dad". That touched my heart. The food all looked truly delectable. I watched Katie put stuffing on her plate and then she added more, and just a bit extra because it's her favorite part of Thanksgiving 🤪 mine too! That's the same kinda food we had at mamaw's every year. She lived out in the country in a place called shady grove in Mississippi. I miss being out in the country so much it just hurts. I live in town and hate it but I'm thankful to God that I have a roof over my head.

Thanks for sharing girls. I didn’t cook or partake this year so seeing all the tasty food has me salivating. It’s so true as the years go by families go off in separate directions or parents die and what we remember as family gatherings and all the food becomes less and less. I learned to make all mama’s dishes(and we had an abundance) and am my happiest when I can cook and share. I’m so thankful for your girl’s channel and your mama’s channel…it brings me home again.

This is heaven to me. I grew up in Finland but I went to an American school and all my friends were Americans. Now I live in Canada but I never go through the American Thanksgiving without celebrating. So I wish you the best because the celebration you have shown is like paradise to me. The video was Super Girls!! Happy Thanksgiving belated. I have spend the past I don't even know how many Holidays alone. This year With family help to get out and go 2 1/2 blocks, I was able to be with family and enjoy Thanksgiving. Since I have been fighting & being treated for cancer since March 2022, and still am, I felt it was more important than ever... we aren't Promised tomorrow. Daughter is dating a (young man we love) hunter and he came to be with us all gathered in South Dakota for Thanksgiving. He went out hunting pheasant the day after (and got the daily limit quickly). As we drove around in the country to see old friends, he was scoping out all the places he'd like to go hunting. It's a thing Austin understands, y'all understand. I like knowing that if daughter marries this young man, he can keep them fed by hunting, need-be. THANK YOU for another good video! 🙌🏼

Oh girls, thank y’all for such a sweet video of Thanksgiving with your family & the great music at the end. The food looked great! I know this video will be a blessing for folks who don’t have family near or have to stay home alone today. I don’t have much family & live alone, but I drove to the next town & had a great meal & fellowship with my daughter, her husband & my 5 yr old granddaughter. My daughter’s husband’s parents drove in from the Mississippi Delta. My daughter’s back yard is a deep slant & I fell down & rolled all the way down to the end of the yard. I wasn’t hurt but my 71 yr old body may be stove up tomorrow. That was the best laugh I have had in a long time. I could just imagine how my senior citizen self looked rolling down the hill 😂 I was only worried that I had maybe rolled over some dog poop. I hope Olive got some Turkey! Sending hugs to you both!

I wasn't expecting to hear the men folk were off to hunt and have a meal, then come home. But I live in southern California. I absolutely understand the logic behind it. I was also impressed with Austin going hunting with "dad". That touched my heart. The food all looked truly delectable. I watched Katie put stuffing on her plate and then she added more, and just a bit extra because it's her favorite part of Thanksgiving 🤪 mine too! The music sounded so good and filled my soul to the point I started to clog! Then suddenly the 🎶 stopped 👀 Thank you for sharing ladies 💕 God has been good.
