Satan has an aggressive agenda against the body of Christ and the family. Many are depressed, our kids are suicidal and cutting themselves, substance abuse is commonplace, etc. It is time that we as Christians, like Jesus, take a stand and declare, "Not in my house!"

God then gave man free will to choose the path he wanted to live. No matter how bad our lives are if we repent & come to the one who sacrificed His life for us, he Will wash our past away & we become new in Christ. So you see you matter!

all sounds good stuff, i can't help feeling that at 54 years old and divorced and single and lonely that i am not revalant to God.
Hey Peter, I am 35 and have felt like that often...I don't go to church but was raised in a family that do... when I feel irrelevant I often think of a verse that makes me realize that no one is irrelevant to God-- Matthew 29-31 says "What is the price of two sparrows-one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows." I also think how Jesus chose 12 completely simple men to be his apostles, and hung with tax collectors and prostitutes...every person is relevant to God regardless of age, what they have done or how they feel. :)
Peter, like MrGunnerose shared, you are so relevant to God! Crazy as it sounds, it often seems that when we have nothing to offer that is when God can really move. We're out of the way and he can get all the glory.
Look at Elijah and the widow with her son. In her mind she only had enough to make a meal then her and her son were gonna die. God miraculously provided for her, her son and Elijah.

The Springs Church Hi,thanks for you're concern, and mr gunnerose too.my story in short, i committed proper to God,to Jesus, proper, in 1990,some time AFTER God had miraculously healed me of a broken jaw.i had previously been ashamed of the name above ALL names, Jesus because of the fear of "man", etc. i started going to church and in 1993 i met a divorced woman and we married. her non believing husband had left her for another woman and divorced her some years previous.but the church [the pastor and some of the people there] had a hard line on divorce and remarriage. me and sheila my ex wife had sex before marriage and she got pregant. i'd already asked her to marry me before we slept together but pastor and others told us both we would go to hell for adultery if we married. anyway she was pregnant when we married in the registery office and people in the church including the pastor were telling us God could never bless our marriage cuz she'd been married before. long story short we both argued to much and she kicked me out.. we split up and i had a mental breakdown..i've never known my daughter who is now 20. my wife divorced me in 1996. i did not want that. i never started over and met anyone else. in truth, it seemed to have destroyed my life, what happened. i still believe Jesus in lord of all and i have evangelized and street preached last year. i get depressed with lonelyness and the thought that i'll never have a famliy. you're prayers for me are much appreciated. God bless and i like the video and wish i could meet nicky although i know in my heart only Jesus can help me. Peter.
howard sterns Im sorry you went through that brother it is true that divorce except for martial unfaithfulness is not permitted. This is what the Bible says in respect to the matter in Matthew 5:31-32 "It has been said, 'Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.' But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery" but since your she was cheated on that doesn't apply to her again I'm sorry you went through that it was just just wrong information that was given to you two but please I don't want you to hold any anger towards your ex pastor he is human and was mistaken. This is why studying the bible on our own and not just taking someones word for it is very important. I will be praying for you brother Jesus loves you and God bless!
jonathan Ramirez yes I will . my middle name is howard and the sterns bit came into my mind when concocting my "pseodoname" so I used it. I didn't realize the was a famous howard sterns TV guy in the US until recently and have seen him on Tv. I will change it thanks.
