I wish Dr Lowestein had done my migraine surgery, his support and aftercare is amazing. I have had so much pain after surgery including new trigeminal face pain and my surgeon just doesn’t care.

Thank you for being honest about your recovery!!! I have had 2 decompression surgeries (NOT by Dr. Lowenstein) and experienced that same horrific recovery. Some part of every single day, is spent in bed in the dark w/the terrible pain. I can literally understand your recovery!!

I’ve just had migraine surgery in 9 areas, I’m in so much pain, but in addition I have had nerve face pain start two wks after surgery (I never had this particular face pain before) I’m so worried….

Are side effects like anesthesia dolorosa a concern after the surgery, and if so, what are the treatment options in that situation?
