I wish Dr Lowestein had done my migraine surgery, his support and aftercare is amazing. I have had so much pain after surgery including new trigeminal face pain and my surgeon just doesn’t care.

What a beautiful woman and supportive husband. I am looking forward to having this procedure for my lovely wife of 50+ years. We have suffered the same situation for the last 50 year and are reaching out to Doctors to give us help. Thanks for sharing your life.

Thank you for being honest about your recovery!!! I have had 2 decompression surgeries (NOT by Dr. Lowenstein) and experienced that same horrific recovery. Some part of every single day, is spent in bed in the dark w/the terrible pain. I can literally understand your recovery!!

Congratulations to Christa! So glad you've found relief, and thank you for sharing your story! Question for Dr. Lowenstein - Have you seen any studies on the number of patients that experience a longer than six-month increase in pain after surgery? Are side effects like anesthesia dolorosa a concern after the surgery, and if so, what are the treatment options in that situation?
