Fans explain why a Green Bay Packers tailgate is special

- As football fans nationwide place their bets on which teams have what it takes to make it to next month's Super Bowl, our Mark Strassmann wanted an answer to the real question of the season: who has the best tailgates? He headed to Lambeau Field to look for an answer at the home of the very first Super Bowl winners: The Green Bay Packers.

This video barely scratches the surface of what it feels like on GameDay at Lambeau. That's not a jab at the video, it's great. But, being there in person is like nothing else on this earth if you're a Packers fan. So much fun! 💚💛
The Packers truly are the heart & soul of Wisconsin 💚💛 when you drive up 41 northbound, get to about Depere & see the G from the highway of Lambeau Field, you just can’t help but smile! The reason the Packers have probably the largest fan base, literally fans all over the world, is because of the small town mentality! GO PACK GO🏈🧀🍻
Amen i’m from Texas. I’ve been a Packer fan for many years. My wife and I flew to Wisconsin to see the Packers and the Bears and talk about feeling at home. With all my fellow Packer fans, and the go round the stadium and drive through the neighborhoods and see all the homes across the street from the stadium all decorated and Packer gear, the streets signs it was absolutely awesome. I have a buddy that’s also a Packer fan now after I converted him and I was telling him that we need to fly to Wisconsin where he could get the experience of being in Lambeau Field doing the tour sitting next to Brett’s locker it was just absolutely magical for me.

Thank you, Grandpa, for what will be my 3rd generation inheritance of two tickets just 15 rows up from the front on the corner endzone and right next to the home tunnel, which I could touch. Best seats. We are the best fanbase in football.
I showed up to the Vikings stadium 4 hours early a few years back and it was a ghost town. I am so used to going up to Green Bay where there’s thousands of people already 4 hours prior. I have only been to a few other stadiums none of them compare to Green Bay.
I have experienced tailgating at Lambeau for 6 games. It is by far the best experience in the NFL. Lot 1 is where the biggest party happens.

I’m a Falcons ticket holder who grew up in the shadow of Giants Stadium and tailgating there. Tailgating at Mercedes Benz is unique for different reasons. But I’ve traveled to Green Bay 3 times and that is probably the most special experience! Best brats I’ve ever had and cheese curds🌭🧀🏈

@@rack9458 There are 3 Entertainment Center in Green Bay and a Baseball team which also puts on Concerts ever game. Since I live near all this I got to hear POISON play half the night. In the Winter there is man made hill/building and ice rink. Also go to the museums if that's your thing.

Have you been to Wisconsin? Other than Milwaukee, it's about as christian white as you'll find. Not surprisingly, that's the overwhelming demographic at the games. I grew up in Green Bay. Zero POCs and 1 jewish girl in my grade school. High school not much better. Got the hell out for college and never came back. Sure, it's nice to visit and go back for an occasional game, but yikes.
