You can Fly a Jet against Props!

- There is a unique overlap when JETS faces off against PROPS in War Thunder Simulator Battles and that is under battle rating 6.7!
The He 162-A2 is faster than anything it faces at this battle rating with a large margin. At the same time, it has probably the worst dog fighting capabilities with awful turn time and acceleration. By playing smart in this aircraft the enemies will have a hard time shooting you down!

I blame the massive jet engine obscuring my six and my in my confidence that no one should have been able to climb after me like that haha. Won't make that mistake again :)

@@smigoltime I'd imagine the sound of the turbine behind him probably blocked out/obscured the sound of bullets, and tbh, who doesn't expect a few desperate shots chasing you as you climb away

@@smigoltime Yeah that engine is gonna mask the plane right behind the pilot. I guess that's the exact reason he shifted to third person view, in which SB doesn't provide.
Nice video! I see the He162 competitive in SB at 6.7 but in RB it gets clapped easily by climbing spits, which resentlessly dive on you and outperform you energy wise in maneuvers.
Thanks man. Yeah you pretty much have to have the altitude advantage or you are going to lose. You can always run away if you mess up 😄

Can you please 🙏 make a video of the Ta 152 C-3..... I love this plane but I do not know how to fly it properly.i am using the BF 109 playing style on it. But in dogfight ons sim I get most of the times out tern. So far I use it to hunt high alt bomers.
I have not flown it enough to confidently give you the best of tips. I believe it should be flown as a FW 190 since it is basically a late 190 version. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong!). The few times I have flown it, I must say it feels kinda heavy so I would boom n zoom as much as possible and you should use its good roll rate to get away from people. But I'm sure I'll do a video on it in the near future! I too want to learn it.

So far I agree it feels heavy to fly the roll rate like you say is good.The dive is amazing I spade my Ta 152 C-3 and it can go mark 0.9 in a dive and can pull out of it.but so far the low speed is killing me in dog fight and maneuver is my down fall.i do not know what the do.The clim rate is good if you have the speed but get the speed and to try to out run and out clime a enemy player scary 😨. Thank you for responding to me and I hope the knowledge I pass on to you what I know will help you to . I am a big fan of your video o7 o7 o7 o7 when you discover it secret pleas make a video I am truly eager to learn more of this plan . With that speed and climb rate, there should be no need for you to dogfight. In air combat, good decision making is just as important as being good at maneuvering. Choose your fights carefully and have patience! Only dogfight if you know you are alone with your target and can outturn it!

I use virpil mongoosT cm3 base with constellation alpha stick and the throttle. I also use TrackIR5.

And an actual turbojet rather than a farty pulse jet. That said, I can imagine it's aerodynamic development being very intertwined with the V1 (wind tunnel tests, etc)

It's propably the shittiest jet in the entire game hands down, but it's still a jet.
If play it properly props don't really have much chance.
I would rank it top 5 shittiest jets. There are some horrible jets in War Thunder xD

This is air simulator battles.
If you have not yet tried it, I can strongly recommend it.
what's the blue smoke?
That is aerobatic smoke which can be toggled on and off. Think the default key is L if I remember correctly. Some people use it to signal their whereabouts or if they are in trouble. You can choose different colors.
Have you used the BI in Sim?
No I don't have it. Feels a bit gimmicky to me :)

True, I guess that is an alternative for an early jet enjoyer if you wanna fly jet at 6.7. I don't know much about it since it is a premium. Is it even faster than a P-51 H? xD
It's not the fastest but its still an early jet that gets against props
