I finally made these. These are probably the best blondies I've had. Blondie is short for blonde brownie, and these perfectly fit that description. They have the same appearance and texture as brownies, with the shiny top and dense and fudgy interior, but made with brown sugar and vanilla. Other blondies I've tried felt more like a cookie, not a brownie, so I was truly wowed by these. Finally, blondies that are literally blonde brownies! The only thing I would add is some salt, as I feel they could use a little. These blondies are exactly what I've been looking for. Thank you!
I love how you add the chocolate chips with the flour before mixing. There's no need to mix in the flour first, then the chips. In fact it's unwise as it may result in unintentionally overmixing the batter.
I don't think is reasonable, 200g sugar for only 190g flour, plus you forget about the sugar in chocolate chips, where more than 50% is sugar, that means you'll have 300 grams of sugar for a small sized sweet 😅

wym they melted? they’re baking. of course they’re going to melt in the oven. the end result was when it cooled and the chocolate chips hardened again if that’s what you’re referring to
did you use chocolate chips or chunks? if you mean that the chocolate didn't hold its shape, you probably used chunks of chocolate, which do melt and spread when heated. chocolate chips, on the other hand, stay the same shape in the oven. but if you used chips idk what happened haha

Don’t microwave the butter . It will not cream then. Keep it outside the fridge for half an hour until it is soft and then work with it
I think you have to wait for the butter to cool down as well? Something about it won't hold the shape properly
