Thanks Joe, you just set me straight on something. I thought you have to make a loop by tying an overhand knot in the braid, but I see you just split it and get braid to come apart to make the loop.
Old Post I know but that's not what he did. Look up a Bimini twist knot. Good tutorials out there and it's as strong as they get. Tricky sometimes but you'll get it.
Howd u get the loop in the first place from reel? U skipped that part? I get when u buy a wind on it comes with loop right? But how do u make the loop from your mainline
Great stuff !!! Thanks for the simple yet meaningful tips .

@Taevon Mahi'ai post was a whole ago, guess I didn't watch it all the way.
Love your videos!!!!
Excellent video. Seeing it done live makes more sense than seeing it in pictures. Is this considered a 100% connection strength wise?
Great video! Thank you, for making it.
Thanks for posting this. Question. What knot do you use to make the loop end on the spectra (line coming from reel)?
We use a bimini twist knot for the loop on the reel. To lock the bimini twist knot I super glue it. Good luck!
Great video but how do you make the loops?
Is it okay to use a loop connection between mono to mono?
Why do you use hollow core if you are using a loop to loop connection? Isn’t the main purpose of expensive hollow core to allow for a knotless splice?
Same thing I thought
@Taevon Mahi'ai Ok good concept...I like being able to change out rigs on the water without constant retying.

How strong is a loop connection like this?
