Thank you for bringing attention to this! I can't believe we haven't seen videos from the big drone RUclipsrs urgently talk about this yet as a call to action like you have! They're really going to let us down if they don't do that in the next couple days to bring it to the attention of as many DJI drone flyers if possible.

Actually, the FPV market has been very vocal about this for several months now. It’s the AG industry that’s been quiet…until now.
I fly nothing but dji both camera drone, and dji fpv systems. I also use them for 107 work. If this bill passes, there will be a ton of people out of work etc....useless bill....
I feel so bad for the thousands of jobs drone spraying from DJI has created and equally sad for the hundreds of thousands of farmers that want this DJI drones to spray their fields, either as a service or with their own DJI agras drone purchases. What is our government thinking? They will destroy this market right before it even matures!

I am from Europe, so i cannot contact your senators, but I really hope, that this bill - that is mainly focused on profiting the drone-manufacturers of the us (are there any that are really competetive?) - will not go through. Security is an important factor when importing electronic devices, but this whole thing is just a lobbyist-move that has nothing to do with security :)

So tell me this ? I was thinking on buying a DJI M30t with the ban should I buy one? And I looked at the skydio website their drone are crap 💩 and I sign up on the drone app I need my DJI drone !
Sent to my state folk this morning. They will destroy any business that depends on these drones. And farmers & every other commercial pilot. Fix any issue required, and step back is all they need to do.

I doubt it will happen. It'd be to convenient. Most likely there's going to be a lot of protests.

No this bill will deny DJI drones access to US communications infrastructure effectively grounding all the drones it also outlaws future sales of DJI drones in the United States. The problem is that DJI captures flight data and sends it back to the CCP to have the most current terrain mapping of the United States. This is a national security problem. It is actually a very smart move on their part to have the US consumer fund their Trojan horse spying infrastructure.
I've sent an Email. I'm currently a hobbyist, technically, but I was literally just working my way into a full on business with agricultural drone spraying.
