@@nocroq2718 yeah . there was only few acceptable tuts yours is one of them . but I think it would be better to be more clear about the usage of curve tool ,I got confused that part .
FINALLY! bro tysm i have been looking for a good katana tutorial for hours but they always just doesnt care doesnt detail but this is the best tuto i have ever seen and also you have style aswell love it!
Overall good tutorial, love how detailed you get so definitely one of the better katana videos on here. Only feedback I have is that a voiceover so either actual human speech or ai text to speech in the background would’ve made following along 100x easier. Speed was a little fast so I had to play it at 0.25x but I really think some sort of voiceover will really help. Great work though
@@nocroq2718 english :), if you are not comfortable with your accent maybe AI speech could work. anyway, great job on that sword i understood 10% of the tutorial tho hahaha
@@nocroq2718 yes! COMPLETLY. dont be afraid that people make fun if your accent or not. it really helps us so much really. I had to slow it to 0.25 speed to know what to do. Overall this tutorial is already so great thank you so much for creating this. I would've been done for if it wasnt for you
Check that your object's scale is set to 1. If it's different, this could explain why the bevel behaves as it does. Try resetting the scale with 'Ctrl + A' then 'Scale', that should solve the problem.
@@nocroq2718 I solved the problem but in a different way i set the menu settings of bevel to percentage instead of offset but will definitely try that 👍
When you use the "Proportional object editing" tool, you'll see a circle representing your radius of action on the mesh of your object. Make sure you attenuate it correctly, so as not to impact all your points. To do this, use your mouse wheel
2:12 I dont understand anything since that point with the curves... idk what to do i did exactly what u did and when i try to add geometry the shape is wierd...
When creating a curve, be careful not to change its scale, which can sometimes cause problems. Check that your scale is 1 on the X Y Z axis of your objects. In my next video on modeling the Tengen katana, I'll try to improve the use and understanding of blender curves.
I understand that it's frustrating when something doesn't work in Blender. Unfortunately, since I'm not near you, it's difficult to solve the problem remotely.
To obtain the straight curve, you have to scale the two points of the curve on the axis in question with a value of 0. Be careful that the "Transform Pivot Point" is on the "Bounding Box Center"
@@nocroq2718 i forgot i wanted to ask for the models cuz im making a demon slayer game in roblox and i would really need the inouske sword and the tengen uzui sword, it would really help us because i dont have much time i need to make the game!

If you want to shrink the curve with the scale, the "Transform Pivot Point" must be on the "Bounding Box Center". Then you can .
