Huge thanks for this video. I live in a northern state in the US so golfing is most likely done (outside) for this year. My winter plan was to work on my flexibility being 65 now, even though I am pretty flexible for my age.
Excellent video I struggle for time to get to the gym but these exercises you can do at home . Perfect winter preparation for the start of the season. Looking forward to the next ones!
I was trying a GT2 driver yesterday at the range and comparing it to my g400. I decided to save £580 and work on my fitness with the odd lesson over the winter instead.
I just tried the first drill and hoochie momma I am a lot tighter than I thought. At first I was about 12 inches from the wall with my hand but got it down to about 8 inches. That is a really nice stretch. My goal is obviously to touch the wall by spring.
Ask Sam about a stretch for the shoulders. I have an issue with my left shoulder being a bit tight which makes it hard for me to keep the left arm straight on the back swing. I'm a right handed golfer.
@alex you should not retain your breath when you make effort..I'm no golf pro but I know my way around using the all body and I had noticed that during your swing..you contract and block your breath...you should expire more , that would lead to more relaxation and flexibility ;) and can prevent many injuries as well :)
*Great to have Sam on the channel! This will seriously help you ❤️*

All this time spent on little tweeks and really this is the answer to not just golf but your life in general..get in shape and stay flexible..
Flexibility is a huge factor in all of life..
Very nice but some of us can't get down on our knees. So must I give up😢
How do I increase my flexibility with 5 vertebrae fused together?
I been trying for months, and learned nothing. 😂
