Not one for comments but took this to the course tonight and can’t believe how the hands going to 2 and pressing down has given me the best driver strikes I EVER had!!! Thanks pal, absolute game changer. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Alex, although this is the proper way to swing, what isn't mentioned is what to do if you aren't flexible enough to turn down the shoulder on the take-away. I'm a senior golfer and can't physically get into that position. I do have an abreviated swing which I hit solid and straight nearly all of the time. I rarely miss a fairway, but don't have enough distance -- I hit 180 to 200 yds. depending on the roll-out. What am I to do???
I would stop watching RUclips & find a coach that can get you to move better There is also his element of set up that works for Alex. The left foot is flared whereas the right foot has hardly any flair
golfs weird man, I used to be absolute money with driver and terrible with irons and short game, now I am amazing with short game and horrible with driver. 😭
I’m confused. I have seen numerous videos on hitting your driver (from you and others) and they all say when you set up you should til a little to the right so that you will hit up on the ball. Here you say tilt to the left when starting your swing. I’m not a contortionist.
I’m going to give this a go at the range ,I’ve got too much inside on the takeaway recently, bad hooks .hopefully I may make better contact on the middle of the club face more often .I’m sure the driver was invented by the devil himself .
*Make your swing fluid just by making the start of the swing like this!*
You make ugly swing and making youtube video
This guide was exactly the help I needed, thanks!

Love to hear this so much!!!
Thanks this worked brilliant
Great to hear Gary!!
Will give this a go on the range, been struggling with a slice recently and from this video I think I’ve forgotten about the wrists!!
Great lesson Alex! Love this! 😍👏👏👏👏
Appreciate it Janice!!!
Love your teachings and analogies...literally. i should stop, haha...👍
Thank you for the support 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Excellent video!
Good video, what about the right shoulder tilt down at address you typically see in a driver set up?
this left-handed drill is great. I still would prefer the clubhead being a little more closed at clubhead parallel. Fitting my spine.
Thanks for all the great videos! Can you use this with irons also to set the wrist

Play appropriate distances for your age.
Accept the fact you're getting older buddy and maybe get a more flexible shaft to try and help get that distance up a little?

Will this work for Irons as well?
For sure!!!
What is the device you used to check your ball, iPad?

he explained the 2 dimensional move of body/shoulder @take away, you do it together at the same time would be the correct move
You really, really need to go to TPI!
💪
Damn, I was following you until you got to the clock part 😢
Do you start cocking your wrist at 2 o’clock ?
Start with the feeling of the head moving toward 2:00pm 🙌🏼🙌🏼
@@AlexElliottGolf yes I do that and I rotate back but forget about wrists. May be the missing link.
So many instructors laugh like their system is so easy it’s not natural in your mind to hit from the inside

I get what you're trying to teach but this video is not clearly done. I see a lot of golfers being confused by this.
Sorry!
