Fun video, but I'm gonna step in and say that he probably would have verified a much harder Yatagarasu with a polished version of his part intact and likely extended Sonic Wave Infinity. Cyclic's part in Yata was removed because of the hackusations, but in this alternate timeline, he likely would've been one of the top choices for verifier before Trusta and maybe even Surv. As for Sonic Wave Infinity, he was a verifier. He was tasked with the unbuffed version that still pertained ViPriN's deco before APTeam remade it. In this alternate timeline, he likely would've been playing the hardest version at the time, which would've been the superbuffed, extended version that Riot got stuck on. And seeing as he'd likely beat that, APTeam's SWI and the brutal verification history would've likely never happened. Honestly, I'd say he'd attend the Tartarus race if anything, with a good shot at winning too for his swan song. But again, it's all a bunch of funny speculation.

Another thing to mention would be Sonic wave’s reign on the lrr list. With Sonic wave being beaten on 75hz in 2015 it wouldn’t receive another lrr victor until Biprex in late 2021 and wouldn’t be dethroned from the position of hardest lrr demon until AGSEcho beat yatagarasu in January 2022 making Sonic wave the hardest lrr demon for around 7 years.
I don’t know why but I think he’s back because his level Ice Cream got re-rated. He even responds to the re-rate, which is actually something we never had in almost 3-5 years. Wow.

I'm surprised you didn't mention the FPS Bypass controversy, which occurred around the same time as Bloodlust's verification. The Demon List's refusal to accept records using the in-game FPS changer tool outright destroyed the career of every player who was discovered to be completing levels using it, including former top players like Sunix. I don't know how Cyclic would've fared in that dark age.
I loved the "3xotiC: An Alternate Reality" video, so it makes me really happy that this series is being continued! These videos are always very interesting to watch, and it really makes people think about what could've been different if several GD cheaters never hacked their accomplishments. Maybe it would be cool to make one of these videos on Andromeda GMD? I know he legitimately completed everything he hacked, but if those completions were never hacked in the first place, it would be really interesting to see what you could come up with for the predictions!
I love the concept of alternative GD history, and I have been thinking about it for a while, here's some scenarios that I thought of: What if we had the modern 2.2 editor since the beginning of GD (1.0)? What if the "early 2.1" style never went away? What if Mefewe had beaten Sonic Wave? If any person sees this comment, I would love to talk about it in the replies.

im pretty sure cyclic only hacked sonic wave and the hell zone because he sent the message to riot saying that he hacked everything but he had already confessed to hacking the day before that he admited to hack verifying both sonic wave and the hell zone . There is also proof of cyclic hacking both of these levels but beside that there is no proof of him hacking any other levels which means he might have only said that afterwards to riot so he could leave the comunity. If all of this is true it means that he still verifyed cataclysm and the ultimate phase.
i agree a lot with much of what is in this video. but i think one thing that is kind of overlooked is the fact that bloodbath would never have been top 1. this would completely change a lot of things; not only would hell-themed megacollabs never become as popular as they became, but riot wouldn’t be considered the best player, which puts into question whether levels like yatagarasu, SWI or tartarus would have been created/finished. in fact, this alone with the fact that cyclic never left the game in the first place, is what leads me to believe that riot would never have commissioned viprin to create SWI. mefewe would also not complete sonic wave, since he returned to the game because of cyclic’s confession. since sonic wave was never hacked, i believe there would be less motivation for players like djake, surv, aurorus or trusta to join the sonic wave race. this leaves cyclic the undisputed top player for almost a year before perhaps being dethroned by sunix. during this time i believe cyclic would have made several top levels, one or two of which i believe would have dethroned sonic wave. this could include ABP, artificial ideology, the hell zone, master spark, dance of the violins, etc. this would likely have raised the standard for difficulty making artificial ascent actually top 1 worthy, and it would have been verified by combi or sunix depending on whether or not combi’s computer ended up breaking in this timeline too. as for erebus, even if it ended up existing it would likely not have been top 1 for long. several players like knobbelboy or stormfly may not rise to popularity given that they wouldn’t get to verify the hell zone/artificial ideology. PPF however would still exist since the plasma pulse series had already existed, and i think zeostar would have managed to make it top 1 worthy. it’s hard to say just how far cyclic would have pushed through, but i believe he wouldn’t have pushed as far as sunix, ESPECIALLY considering that his play time would have been severely limited by korean academic pressure as he had stated. the last biggest predictable change would be that in one way or another, bloodlust would not exist. this is both because bloodbath never became as popular as we have seen it become, and also manix was inspired by SWI to create bloodlust. this is huge because bloodlust not existing could completely change the future of geometry dash, and it’s questionable whether or not GD would stay alive without bloodlust. from this point on, it begins to get increasingly difficult to predict anything. zodiac may or may not have existed, and many other levels that never came to be may have existed. its possible that tartarus may have been continued and finished by riot, but the odds of this happening would have been lower. if the GD community managed to keep pushing the difficulty even without bloodlust, i would say we may actually end up in a pretty similar outcome; tartarus would be verified, which could mean acheron and aeternus could also exist. the golden may also exist as a remake or el dorado, but whether it would be top 1 or not is unknown. icedcave might remake slaughterhouse as a possible top 1, but it might be gray because the hell-theme wasn’t as popular. or maybe not, it’s impossible to know for certain. silent clubstep would likely still get verified, and that’s about as far as we can go. zoink may have never touched the game for all we know, or maybe someone else would have taken his place. all that we know for certain is that cyclic changed the game forever.

I'm thinking that because of his loss, Riot would quit, so Tartarus and Acheron wouldn't exist. If there is no Tartarus, there wouldn't be any competition to dethrone it, so no Slaughterhouse or it's remakes and no SpaceUK. Cyclic hacking could have changed history up to like 2030 or something.

Cyclic didn't hack like everyone thinks (I believe just THZ), and the story is much sad than what people say. Cyclic was a really talented guy, the kid would beat almost any demon, issue was that he was so good that it was unbelievable, a lot of the community would accuse him of hacking after he beat Cata. He ignored it at the start, but it was growing and it was going deep into his mind. Time passed and when Riot started with the Bloodbath project, Cyclic wanted to build something as well, but Sonic Wave was originally thought as a meme, he didn't thought of it as a serious level, he even hacked it to verify it, I'm pretty sure he said that at the time. When he told the community he hacked SW (becuase for him it was a meme level), the community jumped to attack him with not wholesome messages, and all the hate he got was the motivation for the remake of SW. When he remade it, he made it a serious level and he verified it legitimately. Even then, people still acussed him of hacking, and the community was fucking with him. He didn't took it longer, and that's why he quit. I'm pretty sure he did hack THZ later, but it was out of frustration with the community and, the only way he thought the community would stop going insane over him was "confessing" (let's remember Andro confessed not so long ago at that time and the community showed mercy to Andro). He thought that if he "confessed" the community would stop calling him and making him sad, he thought he could be left alone, well, that didn't happen. Sadly, Cyclic left the game, not because he was a hacker, but because the community was shit towards him. Let's say that Cyclic was indeed a hacker and hacked everything, the why would the old acomplishments videos "hacked" in a way the community didn't notice but the split in OG SW was so obvious? wouldn't he tried to "verify" OG SW using hacks, instead of admitting it, like he did? Another comment, regarding ICDX, I believe Sir Guillester verified ICDX before Riot, but I could be wrong. (I don't recall where I saw this) I will support Cyclic, as I had the chance of seeing for myself everything. Long life legend!

I don't really think beating a hacked rated level is the same as it puts you in a different headspace, especially if you are under the impression it was verified legit

When did this community decide to start calling the first victor of a hacked level the verifier... just a pet peeve of mine
if ur the person who proved that a level is possible to beat, you're a verifier
@@valeriewithsalt to me it has always meant the person who beat the level so that it could be uploaded to the servers i.e what it means in the editor to verify a level. I don't really think beating a hacked rated level is the same as it puts you in a different headspace, especially if you are under the impression it was verified legit
