Growing up fishing inshore, offshore in the Gulf of Mexico, creeks, bayous, lakes and more. Fishing for a large variety of species including Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder Sheepshead, King & Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Wahoo, MahiMahi, Amberjack, Jack Cravalle, Red Snapper, Trigger Fish, Gag Grouper, Scampi Grouper, Snowy Grouper, Bonito and more!
Traveling south to catch species like snook, tarpon, mutton snapper, yellow tail snapper, barracuda and more!
On this channel you will notice that we like to switch things up and do a little bass fishing also! Catching lots of pan fish like blue gill, stump knocker -war mouth, long eared sun fish and more! Not to forget about those tasty crappie!

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I really needed to hear that. Im a mechanic that specializes on Fire Trucks and here in Texas there are a few shops that heavy hitting competition and it really makes me feel like David going against Goliath. I know i can be successful, but id be asking a lot from my family as im the only bread winner. But I guess I need to look to God for my daily bread as im chasing my dream of having my own fire truck shop.

MAN that is awesome.. I've been kayak fishing for about 10 years, done a lot in saltwater but I still haven't gone offshore or even nearshore for fishin' like that.
My 50th birthday is coming in March, I'm planning a good kayak trip and I believe THIS is what I will do. I'll be taking a 2night trip in May for tuna, but it's in a big boat.. NO DOUBT doing it in a kayak will be 1000 times more exciting.

On another note, I've spent countless days on that exact beach, right on the beach in the exact location you caught that fish, a couple hundred yards down from the pier in Navarre. One of my best friends lives out there and we would drive from Louisiana just about every few weekends and spend a few days out there. Destin gets all the attention, but Navarre is such a beautiful and way less crowded beach.

I was like ooooooohhhh!!! When you broke off but then a miracle! 😂 that was awesome! Just stumbled across your channel and subscribed. My mom grew up in Pensacola in 1935. We spent a lot of our summer there as kids then when I was 13 (1985) I lived there for a year. Spent a little time fishing off of the bridge and some other water ways. The pier at the beach was gone I think from a previous hurricane. I now live in Washington state and the fishing and weather isn’t as good as down there! Looks like I need to come back for a visit and get on some tuna!!

I was cruising around on you tube looking for fishing videos and came upon yours and I really felt like I was there the way you were having fun catching your first black fin. I've never caught one of those I've barracuda and yellow tail tuna and those yellow tail are pretty strong but I heard those black fin are even tougher. Good fish brother. Looking forward to your next video escape of fishing

Congratulations! Awesome video. Two quick suggestions: Cotton kills Might want to rethink wearing jeans out there and invest in some high tech clothing especially for the colder months. When you happen to go over (it's not if it's when), you will never know when it will happen, you will want to be as best prepared as you can be and give yourself the possible possible chances of survival. Another thing is have that VHF attached to your body. When you go over panic is usually the first reaction and in those first few moments of panic that VHF can very easily sink out of reach or float off several feet and you'll never see it again. Attached to your body it should always be within arms reach. Hope for the best prepare for the worst. Stay safe!

Gear up, be safe, and practice!
Do intentional capsizing so it becomes routine and not a panic situation.
It will force you to rethink your whole process of handling yourself and your gear while in the water.
Being informed as well as experienced is just the 1st steps and MOST IMPORTANT part of being prepared

I just found this channel. You sound like me , I fish anything and anywhere. That Yozuri is great for catching Blackfin. In Louisiana we have to go out a good ways for tuna. We have some nice Yellowfin too. Ya'll are lucky in Florida. I was sick when you lost that first one ! Clear your other line first , bring a fish bat too so they don't get away.

Haven't used the pedal kayak since I bought a boat. But man, love the simplicity and efficacy of a kayak. Blackfins are my favorite fish on east coast Florida.

Nice catch man! I've gotten tangled up enough that I only fish one line when I'm targeting fast running fish. Certainly you have better odds with multiple lines out, but it's just not worth the time lost trying to untangle a mess of multiple rods.
That's the first time I've ever seen 1 fish caught on 2 rods, he must have hit and inhaled your other lure during the first few seconds of the fight. You never noticed he was on rod 2 during the first fight because as you were reeling him in towards you, rod 2 was getting slack despite him being hooked on it as well.
So glad I found your channel. You certainly captured the chaos of kayak fishing and the joy of embracing it. Nice work.
