That device is so interesting considering the android market these days just seems to be the same handful of companies, seemingly less and less each year
I have it and it's absolutely absurd how good it is even a few months after purchasing it's still a great performer

I bought the Motorola edge Plus 2022 for 150 bucks from boost it clearly blows this phone out the water I had for a month now and despite gen 1 heating issues it's the most powerful and beautiful phone I have ever had for so cheap I was considering buying the phone you reviewing but I still got a bad taste in my mouth from the first celero phone I got but great video bro I mean you can't go wrong for 60 bucks for a phone like that

I don't know about others, but I am having issues with calling or receiving calls and the person on the other end can not hear me but I can hear them. Please let me know if you are having the same problem

I have this phone and I really like it but I cannot find a way to sort the apps. They are in no apparent order and there is no button or icon to tap at the top that allows me to access sorting. Anybody have any suggestion?

The only thing I got problems with is not being able to talk to someone I have to put on speaker to talk to the person on the phone

Both sucks tbh. Iphone got to many restrictions tho. I wanna be able to do what I want since I bought it why I like android better. Only way get that advantage with iphone is if you jailbreak it and in which if you do it basically just turn into a normal android phone.

I just got a sim card yesterday from Boost. On their website I saw the Celero, but they want 290 dollars for it. I guess there are no special deals for me. I like that it would look like a pixel or motorola but I am not sold yet. Plus, how do you get an orange one? How do you get it on sale? Maybe someone is dumping one on Ebay.

Yeah, the bigger the better...lol. I picked up a Brand-New Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra for a cool $350. Ironically it also has a 6.9in (2K) screen. With the Snapdragon 865+. I used the OLED OC (overclocking) mod so it can run 2K 120hz. I got that from XDA's oppo FIND X2 Pro mods section and it worked. I also got the LG V60's 6.8in P-OLED screen to run at 90Hz. The V60 also got Android 13 and has every feature found on a phone. Other than the ir Blaster, that's it. Got the dual screen version brand new for $270. Not too shabby.

Keep in mind that overclocking anything, especially your screen can fry your phone, literally. The screen is used for cooling your phone, so it does double duty in that regard when anything more intense is playing on your phone
The speaker don't sound distorted on mines . It scored a 95 good for music 🎵 sound. On phone review web sites and performance.Especially with Head phones . The problem with this phone are voice calls some people are having. These celero 5g + phones voice calls have huge problems .they need to fix before people stop trusting this phone.
Probably okay for what you pay, but the nonexistant updates and the dim screen are a bummer.

Actually this phone does come from dish network so it does come from a big company. Like Samsung or other big brand names. That owns boost mobile . And other well known companies by now. .so this phone isn't going anywhere and i think this celero is just beginning . Dish is the fourth largest wireless company on the planet .
According to it's specs, the back panel is frosted glass.
(When I first got the phone it took the sales person 30 minutes to set it up because the phone brand new kept shutting down. He had to call boost 4-5 times before it could be used.)This phone is not good at all. This is a list of things I have had to deal with since I got this crap. The phone drops calls (especially emergency calls-YOU CANNOT MAKE EMERGENCY NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO). The phone deletes everything. My pictures, music, contacts.The phone randomly freezes, apps close on their own. You can make calls or receive calls (this happens randomly). Sounds get distorted randomly. The battery drains without you doing anything. I have this phone since June 2023 and I have that I spent almost 300 on this piece of sh!t.

The phone is garbage! It receives only half the texts sent to it, and the rest of the messages a month later. You'll answer calls but half of the time you can't hear the other party. And half of the time you send videos, they'll be without sound. It's good for checking apps and RUclips, though
Yup that's why boost stop selling it and came out with a newer version and people overpricing it online used like it's a flagship phone. Lmao i see people selling it online for like 300 plus dollars.
I have the new Celero 5g plus and it SUX as well. First thing the sound isn't loud enough at all and it sounds distorted and more than half the time you can't hear the people you are trying to talk to even if you put them on speaker. And also the internet connection is spotty at best. And it is always loosing connection to what ever website your looking at. I don't know for a fact if it is the phone that causes me to loose connection to the Internet or is it the phone service itself but I will be changing phone company's as soon as I get the $ to sign up for new service some where.

I seem to have lag while gaming too. But I've had that with all androids so I've learned to play around it

Its garbage after 6 months. How about a fresh review after 6 months:) Mic goes in and out. If i want to stream movies or watch RUclips i must first reset it. 2 months left on prepaid balance but it sits in a drawer. Store keeps replacing them but same issues. They wont refund my balance either. Boost is now crap as well. It runs 5g great but with no sound its useless. Went back to AT&T and a Galaxy.
Rumor has it it's a TCL device...the display outside is a huge fail....
