This might actually the best table i've ever seen. and i've been changing setups every year for the past 8 years. Yet to stumble upon this level of feature and style. I'm considering one now
Just another great video!👌👋🏻 The desk seems awesome with premium feeling, and some cool features. Your setups really are inspiring to me. I love the dark accent. Having a bunch of ideas! 💪🏻 Thanks mate! 🤙
Some great features. I do like the fact that it has a conventional look with the 4 legs, rather than the ubiquitous split pedestal style. It looks less like a modern piece, so might fit in better in a more traditional office space. The price point is, I think, meant to draw in a different level of consumer. Good video.
That looks like a premium desk!! I love how minimal it looks 😍 you nailed the cable management Michael. Awesome review, I always appreciate your honesty!
Wow, the beflo Tenon desk looks absolutely amazing! As someone who hates messy cables, I'm impressed by how neat your setup looks. It's great to see unique and innovative products like this on the market. I can't wait to get my hands on one! (but maybe after 10 years since it is too pricey, LOL)
It’s obvious that a lot of thought has been put into this elegant zen inspired desk to make it minimalist yet offers great features. The clips is a great idea, perhaps more options will appear. It is not obvious to me if someone could add articulated arms for a monitor or a mic and some kind of light, all needed for conference calls these days. A welcome addition would be a hidden wireless phone and accessory charger. Simply a gorgeous desk! Maybe one day! 🤞
Beautiful looking desk, probably one of the best I've seen. the additional options are cool, and decently priced. However, I couldn't afford the desk myself, its #1 in my book. (I wished they had a 72 inch option)😀
I have a Secretlab Magnus Pro in large as I loved the cable tray which is already quite expensive for a sit-to-stand but the price on this one is something else
first off. im new to your channel but love your content so far. let me just say that i love your logo. love the intro scene. with the faux leather background. okay nolw i will watch the rest of the video
I love the review, Michael! Overall, awesome concept for the desk but it kinda limits someone to just be inside their ecosystem. They have a lot of good stuff going on but for people that like using monitor arms, that gets thrown out the window right away. But hey, this is a really awesome product for its first iteration!
I haven't tried it yet but I believe you can still use monitor arms on this desk. The crevice leaves a good amount of space between it and the back edge of the desk. Thanks, Lloyd!
The review is cool, as always! Thanks for showing us some cool stuff available out there! As a person crazy about cable management, tidy workspace and customization of my desk, I see multiple issues there: (hope beflo reads this as well) 1) The control screen/pad requiers multiple touch gestures, instead of one click of a physical button. and the location may be problematic. (even though you mentioned double tapping is an option but still multi-gesture). 2) The width is too short IMHO - I have a 180cm desk, and 150 is too small for my needs. 3) You haven't mentioned mounting support for heavy-duty monitor-arms and other clamp-style accessories (lighting, cameras, screens, etc.) - judging by the thickness of the desk, I'm not sure it will work (I prefer floating setup, with no monitor or lighting arms taking up space on the surface). 4) CRAZY expensive pricing - and yeah I get it, it's a premium desgin, but still... with accessories that's about 4000$!! 5) Not sure how the tear-off velcros will hold up heavy cables and power blocks. 6) Ambient lighting is a nice touch - but not sure if not a bit of a gimic.
Thanks for the input and definitely valid! The velcro strips are surprisingly useful even for thicker cables. I haven't tried it yet but I am certain you are able to mount a conventional monitor arm. The ambient lighting is more aesthetic to my personal workflow but it's nice that it can also serve another purpose.
Looks great. Wish the touch screen was at the edge of the desk though, not where the company thinks it should be. For those of us who use weird input devices (like drawing tablets), this could inhibit where we put the tablet, mat, etc.
Very good point! I think it would be more of the sizing for me. The panel rests where the bevel is so technically that part of the surface is "not useable".
Hi Michael, loving the desk, great video! Just wanted to remind you to double check your affiliate link URL, as it might not have correctly included your affiliate details (try adding a slash '/' after the com and before the ?). Hope this helps!
How do you guys cable manage your ethernet cord? My router is in the same room as the furnace and my room is not close to it so I got it just chilling all the way out my room, into the living room and by the stairs lmao
Dope concepts & execution. Now if it wasn't stupid pricing and it came in different table top designs and sizes...then it'd be a winner. Only big problem I see is limited customization outside of their own ecosystem of attachments (i.e. monitor w/ arm would interference w/ cutout & attachment board). Overall...good for someone who wants a straight-forward setup, doesn't need to think about being creative w/ their setup outside of the ecosystem and wants something premium. Basically...nobody who builds their own setup. :)
Fair points but it would be unfair to say that you are limited to only using their accessories. It's still a normal desk but with a particular design. I'd say it's only a matter of time before third party companies come up with accessories that would go well with this type of aesthetic.
That desk leg layout should be used for all adjustable standing desks. Almost all standing desks at up to $1000 I have tried are so frustratingly shaky when raised at my waist level. The price though....
I just disocvered this video and the desk looks cool, but I was curious how stable are 4 legs for a dual monitor setup. I decided to invest in a desk from Flexispot and I'm happy with my purchase. I kept thinking it might be over hyped with the number of creators they sponsor but I have to say, this is a STABLE desk. For the price I paid for, and their many discounts offered, it's worth it. I am rocking two 27 inch monitors with a bunch of other peripherals on my desk, with other stuff mounted, and it is not shaky when in standing position or sitting. It does a great job plus it is dual motor.
This is very cool and all but i think I've spent like 50 dollars and gotten all the gadgets to give me the same functionality to this desk and for 2500 i would just get myself a better pc. Its BEAUTIFUL don't get me wrong but dammnnnn I don't think the people can afford this are watching RUclips lol its beautiful none the less and I love watching videos like this.
Totally get what you mean but disagree about people who watch RUclips can’t afford expensive things. Just different audience. There’s tons of videos on premium and expensive items that people watch. Cars for example.
Very nice, but very expensive. Especially the accessories when compared to 3rd party alternatives. You could spec this thing to $3K with accessories. That's high end designer desk territory. The build quality better be exceptional.
None and I'm not sure that would be a good idea from a manufacturing perspective. They do have an accessory that does that but it wasn't available at the time I made this video.
I would like to invite you to read up on UI design. It's much more meaningful than you think and in most cases it feels "invisible" because it works so well.
damnnn i just noticed that there is no room for monitor arms so you the desk even tho it saves so much space there is not possibility of lifting the monitors off the desk which would just use up the space you are spending so much money on saving
I haven’t gotten to test it yet but I believe there is enough room from the edge of the desk to the crevice to mount an arm. I’ll probably try it out this week since I’ve gotten that question a few times.
How did you feel about that slope on front? Was it comfortable to rest your hands? P.S. At the beginning of the video, I thought it was a render. Nice review :)
This is definitely a premium desk, but it feels like it has a lot of smart gimmicks made only to try to justify the outrageous price. Personally, I would much prefer to go with the Secretlab Magnus XL, which costs a third of the price and has many more real features and useful accessories.
I personally do not resonate with the Secretlab Magnus regardless of the features. Design really is subjective so it would be unfair to take that out of the equation. That said, I am willing to pay a premium for something that I connect with aesthetically versus something that just does "more".
WOW! I won't bother insulting myself by looking at the PRICE. I'll just close my eyes and hit the mute button. I've been shopping for a standing desk for well over 2 months (still shopping) and THIS desk just blew me away. I want it but like I said ...
It's nice, but no shot this is worth anywhere near $3000. That's completely asinine for something you can do 90-95% with moderate easy and 1/6th to the budget or 1/3 if you really want to go all-out.
4x legs desk is killing itself. 1 leg lose balance, then the desk is gone with $3K. There are lot of great options lower than $1K. IMO, I will skip it. Thanks!
I dont understand how 1 leg could lose balance. The 4 legged configuration is much more stable than any other desks I've tried. It doesnt even wobble when I raise or lower it. You are correct, there are great options under 1K but none will offer the same quality and features as a premium desk.
These tables are such a rip off lmao, its just a desk with random gadgets and stuf( those expensive"features" are mostly items that can be bought cheap)..Most important thing obv is the base and the top panel..You rly have to be stupid to pay those crazy prices for a desk.
Nice desk, but that price tag kills it :/
Agree
$2500 usd.. hell no

Dope! Love this setup!
This easily is the best designed they-thought-of-everything and didn't skimp out desk I've ever seen. Good job!
3000$
Okay. I bought another frame and wood top and it cost $3k
This might just be the most clean desk setup I've ever seen....
that desk is epic!

Crazy expensive but good looking and functional
Perfect!!!
The price doesn’t bother me so much as the size. 72 x 31 and it would be perfect.
Beautiful❤ but $3 k is way out of my budget. Love your videos. Keep it up!

Beautiful. Both the desk and the video. One problem with standing desks is the wobble when in standing mode. How is it with the Tenon?
Very stable. No wobble at all. This is an advantage of the four posts.

Thank you for letting me know! I'll double check my links.
Looks very promising! How are you liking the tabletop compared to others you've used?
It's a different character from the others but among the most premium. Despite the finish on this pre-production version I like it!
Hey Michael. Nice set up. What’s the dial box on the right at 7:28?
It’s a headphone amp from Schiit called the Fulla-E
No Shipping to Germany :( Sad Feelings. Wonderful Video my friend :)

Haha! I have a mesh router system at home so I hardly worry about wires.
Looks nice. Can we use monitor arms on it?
I plan on testing this week. There seems to be enough space between the edge and the crevice that allows for a mounting an arm.
Could build a pc for that price
Dope concepts & execution. Now if it wasn't stupid pricing and it came in different table top designs and sizes...then it'd be a winner.

is there a monitor mount support?
Seems like there’s enough space. I’ll try it out this week.
Do you know where I can find the desktop wallpaper
Here you go wallpaperaccess.com/5k-minimal
What audio interface could we see in the video ?
It’s the Fulla-e by Schiit

Imho it is way expensive.
If the design, build quality, and features weren’t good I’d agree with you.
love the content quality. Find the desk overpriced.
Even if I was down to pay 3K for a desk, I still wouldn’t. Too much $$ for too little space
$312.00 for the monitor stand that won't ship for 9-months, at the earliest. LOL.
its not worth 2500$ as a base price.
