Why do you make it a competition when Alex, says in the video that he doesn't see bands like competitors anymore like he used to. He even praised LS as he hadn't heard them before this or similar. Check the video on his channel as he speaks alot before the song.

I was skeptical before a friend got me into them and then I was hooked on the band and Alex's personality. He takes the serious things seriously but everything else he is just such a great laugh about. I saw them at Birmingham earlier in the year and he conducted the crowd to sing "Sweet Caroline" after their encore haha 😂
Its because of his jokes, im from Brazil and when he makes his jokes on social media i can get its a joke, but a lot of people dont

Dude is cool and a hell of a vocalist and frontman but he kicks himself in the teeth a lot when he tries to navigate basic conversation and shit. He comes off as insecure. Most people just hope he doesn't morph into a meme like Phil Anselmo or Ted Nugent
And that's not just my personal opinion, I know quite a few people that have toured with him and spent time with him outside of the venue. They all kind of just hope for the best for the dude and hope he doesn't say something so stupid or ridiculous eventually on the Internet that only goofballs will have anything to do with him and his band doesn't get screwed over in the meantime over it.
