Glad to hear it, I've owned mine for almost 2 years now and runs great and even starts right up in below freezing weather. Doesn't even need glow plugs!
My grandfather bought a 560 Long brand new in 1978, my dad still uses it to this day, the Hour counter stopped at around 4000 hours over 10 years ago and it still runs like a champ
It may make it easier, but no. I would recommend removing it, as it only requires the disconnect of the main hose and the whole bucket and arm will slide out as a self-contained piece.
@rhynecars ahhh ok ive found one online near me in running condition for around 1000 dollars comes with the loader im thinking that almost has to be to good to be true
@@rhynecars 2wd and is definitely not a show peice the town its in has quite a bit of farming still going on im wondering why it wouldn't have been picked up already if just needs 150$ pump or an even simpler seal kit
@l0n3d4nger4 it's probably because the people that owned them are not familiar with the various internet sites that provide replacement parts, the name while not well known doesn't mean these tractors aren't very reliable. John Deere is just the standard.
@rhynecars ok i do appreciate it the tractor does cross reference with a ton of others allis Chalmers oliver fiat of course so i think ill be ok in that department i will probably pick it up
I have a 460DT as well. I’ve started restoring it too. Where in Virginia are you located? Im in Chesapeake. We can we roll ideas back and forth to each other.
Currently in the process of restoring my 1978 460. Love the video!
Very cool! The play in the steering wheel is glorious 😆
Looking forward to following your restoration journey with this cool machine!
Thanks Alex! Next step is repairing the leaking hydraulic lines!

where to buy headlights for this tractor?
I believe they are a standard size PAR36 size bulb and housing combined. So a general headlight replacement will work.
What tire dimension are on the tractor?
Here they are ruclips.net/video/kJdqxhMagTg/видео.htmlfeature=shared
Try get a 610M or a 1010 DT. UTB made some good tractors
Would you have to take your loader off to change power steering pump looking to buy 560 just needs power steering
