This was a fantastic video of a legendary tractor in its day. The Ford 7810 was the top selling model from the range back in the day accounting for a quarter of tractors being production. The Super Q cab was a great place to spend a working day in as I spent many a long day driving a 10 series with a Super Q cab with the last one being traded in around 2000 for a 40 series tractor or was it a TS My local dealer modified the floor mounted dual power switch and replaced it with a toggle switch fitted to the side of the main gear shifr lever. That's where it should have been in the first place. I noticed too that the bonnet catches weren't in locked position during the video.
Awesome video thanks. What a fantastic tractor anyone who had the pleasure of using one fell in love. I have some fantastic memories using this tractor. Thanks again take care.
Fitted with a small turbo to take it out to 115 hp and large 34 inch radials was recommended by the dealer for arable farming plus a large stack of weights on the front. We had the 7600 which was the do everything machine cos it was shorter but had much the same hp with a tune up.
Most Fords are Good Tractors When i Was !2 I drove Ford 4610 That was a Great Tractor !!,Also 5610,7610 Which i Thought Was The Best With 100hp. Then when i Was Older i Drove a 7810 And Did Ploughing For a Week,What i Think is There all Great Tractors If they have Dual Power Even Better and Simple to use Unlike the Computer Ridden Stuff that Costs a Fortune to Buy and Run Now. Simple is Better in Every Way.
The last solid tractors. The 40's series i had (7840) was total rubbish, and stepped away from Ford and NH because of it. Haven't looked back ever since.
Has there ever been a more handsome tractor? Looks right from every angle!!!
The 8210 much better
Disagree always looked top heavy!!!
Personally I think every Ford tractor with a Super Q cab looks just right!!!
Genius how flattening the top of the cab & adding some lights made it look so gooood !!! + getting rid of the Rubicks cube gear shift!
Brilliant video.. the tractor is a credit to you.. being watching your videos for years. Big fan…
Cheers, glad you enjoyed it!
