By the time you throw that slap, you have leaned in to where your hands are maybe 6 to 8 inches away from his head. That’s what makes it look so quick. I don’t know if I’m gonna be that close to a guy to where I can slap him before I’ve already taken a shiv or thrown a punch. I mean, I’m not going to totally criticize the slap to an ear. It can be a very jarring and distracting impact. But for an experienced fighter, he’s going to flow right through it. An interesting take nonetheless.
Top of foot kidney liver groin (if you're ok with it) slaps can be effective too but just be accurate if you're gonna fight if you're not confident or prefer non violent scenarios just run its ok
