- This week we finished the Smokey’s, stopped in Hot Springs, NC for a resupply, and survived some chilly temperatures!
Join us on our adventure exploring the beautiful Appalachian Trail (AT). The AT is an end to end trail which we will be thru-hiking for the next few months northbound. It starts on Springer Mountain, GA and ends after roughly 2200mi on Mt. Katahdin in Maine.

I appreciate your attitude and your smile.it’s ok to have bad days.
A challenging but beautiful section! Looks like you are on the way to Mordor ;) Good luck guys!
Not a fan of the cold myself but I’d rather deal with the cold on trail than all the other STUFF in life. Enjoy your trip & thanks so much for sharing your experience
Haha, that made me laugh. Too true!
Thank you for watching
You’re in my backyard so I recognize all those places - Jimmy Dean
The weather contrasts from day to day are amazing. From winter snow to spring green grass in a blink - wow. Did I hear a trail name for Patrick in the video?!?! What are your trail names?
I know! The weathers been crazy.
Yes, Patrick’s is Deceiver and mine is Pace
The ATC recommends stealth camping no closer than 70 paces from water all along the AT just for reference later when choosing a spot.
