The bone gun is a very unique movie weapon
Worst part isn't the food, the eating or whatever.
It's the fact he's getting his sleeves in it.
This must be a dream sequence, because you typically can't get the really good stuff in a Chinese restaurant unless you order it in Cantonese.
Nah, you get good stuff too if you know the owner. XD
In that movie you can never be sure what is dream (virtual reality) and what is actual reality.

Actually, the dish that was served was probably frog legs or seafood soup, which included fish, shellfish and lobsters, and don't ask me why, I've eaten it before, and it tastes good. The frogs are fed for the purpose of consumption.

They captured the surreal feeling of a dream (even though I know its supposed to be a game) perfectly. The messy restaurant that nobody seems to mind is nasty, the dog next to where people are cooking.
I can say, that it is a very realistic Asian restaurant. It is not too messy, BTW, how it is usually in real life =)

The movie did a great job simulating a genuine Chinese restaurant. In North American Chinese restaurants, interior decoration often took second priority, some better than others. In Hawaii the joke was the nastier the Chinese restaurant looked inside, the tastier the food was. So I know the food in this nasty-looking Chinese restaurant was going to taste superb. I even noticed the waiter carrying inside a plate holding a Chinese zhong zhi. It's a savory, steamed sticky rice triangular ball with a chunk of pork meat and part of a duck yolk inside, wrapped in large, long green leaves, tied securely with cotton string.
in Indonesia, the triangle sticky rice is call bakcang.
The snapping sound is so satisfying

Even though it is utterly disgusting, I find this scene very appetizing.
Same though. Each little snap the weapon makes as he is putting it together is oddly satisfying for me. I feel like I should be grossed out by this scene but it just isn't for some reason lol.
