Wow this spread is beyond amazing and so simple to make. Everyone if you truly want to be the hit at your next holiday party make this spread. P.S. the Food Network needs you on their network to show the world your awesome dishes. Kurt you are the man!!
Thanks Tony, I'm so glad you like my smoked salmon recipe. If the food network comes calling I'll tell them it was fans like you that made my success possible.
TIP: Mix the cream cheese first before adding the Salmon. Use the whole green onion, not just the green part. Feel free to throw in anything else you like ie: lemon zest, mustard, mayo, sour cream, garlic. And don't forget the pepper.
Thanks for watching and adding your comment. For those who love lots of onion, I agree with you on using the whole onion. For pepper, I use chopped jalapenos or slice and garnish with it so those who don't want the heat can avoid the pepper slices.
Thanks for your comment. I eat salmon skin when I've cooked the salmon on a grill or broiler. The skin from smoked salmon has too much smoke and the texture is not the kind of texture that's appealing. However if you have found a way to use smoked salmon skin please share with me. Who knows, maybe it would be good in a salmon chowder?
Who died and placed you in charge of cooking. Rude is not a strong enough word for you. You should crawl back under the rock from which you came.@@paulredhead8603
I can't stand people who say things like that. Good cooks ALWAYS clean our hands well (and scrub our nails) before handling the food we are cooking. If we're cooking for people other than our families, of course we wear gloves.
I loved the recipe. Thank You Chef Jacobson.
This is one of my favorite recipes - my family just eats it up, thank you Kurt!
Thanks Milana. I'm glad your whole family likes my salmon spread.

Yes this is the recipe I use too. Lemon, mustard, onions and black pepper
You are dead on. Some people who have cooking shows shouldn’t be on T.V . Their cooking is awful, especially not wearing loves.
Good recipe - Mahalo! 😊🤙🏼
Do you have to put in the jalapeno? I can't eat it. I'm allergic.
No, but you might want to add some ground black pepper.
American cooks always say “you can buy it at”!
Whatever you do, don't throw away that skin! This is where much of your Omega 3's are stored.

You are entitled to your opinion. In my home kitchen I see no need to wear gloves. When cooking for work, that's a different story.
Just wash your hands properly
What a cook does in his oir her own kitchen is none of your business. Some people are just rude and you are one of them. @@kurtjacobson5661
