- Look what we found in the woods! I think its a '46 Dodge 1 1/2 ton truck. In this video you get to see it as we found it minus a few small trees blocking the front view of the truck. I still don't know exactly what to do with it but maybe a partial restoration, with a touch of rat rod.

Restauration ! Hundreds of working hours but this small truck is a legend. It deserve !
Maybe thousands of hours... Thanks for the input.
Yard art
Looks pretty solid! Shop truck! My 12 valve cummins is going to end up in something like that.
I'd add stake-sides and a big tool box near the back to haul future restoration projects. You could even put panels at the top near the cab on the stake-sides with your logo and the address to your channel!
I like it. Good idea.
it isn't my hard work..time nor $$..but with that hood and semi art deco style this would be a looker...and a rare one i assume..maybe a winter project(next 3 years) to have..good luck..
Your right, it'll definitely take some time. Thanks!
I add my vote for the restoration, it seems like there are less of the high ton rated trucks around,
and , when done, just might be able to earn it's keep!
Thanks for the vote!
There’s no doubt that’s a huge undertaking to restore it, but that could be such a beautiful truck if given some love! The body actually doesn’t look all that bad either, appears to mostly just have surface rust. The question is how is the drivetrain? Is the engine locked up? (assuming there is an engine in there)
The only thing I see missing is the water pump. The sheet metal is solid. I'm hoping the motor and transmission are salvageable. Once I know more about the drive train I'll decide what to do with the body.
Any updates on this?
With your attention to detail, and your skills, it has to be a restoration as it was the day it left the factory floor. If anyone can do it you can.
I vote to restore but that’s gonna be a massive project. Ray rod is cheaper. Jmo
You guys are trying to break me. Your right though
This is gonna be a labor of love for you, emphasis on labor. Me? I'd sell it for scrap and call it a job well done.
Rat rods are a bit naff, a decent restoration is much nicer imo.
Thanks for the vote.
Restore it!
