C-Clamp FIx

This quick project fixed two c-clamps that had bad angles on the clamp pads. I was frustrated with the clamps when I tightened them on a project.

The unmovable upper jaw has an angle is no big deal, because the lower jaw is movable and together they bite the work piece just perfect.

The more off square the static jaw is to the beam, the smaller the effective opening of the clamp is. Also the further off center, the more the clamping force will cause the arm to bend.
