    This is what happens when children decide to play house. Some of you commenting are siding with Randall and Beth while others are siding with Malik and his wife. Instead of criticizing each other's children what the four of them should be doing is figuring out some way to move forward. Malik and his wife's son had no business getting some girl pregnant at just fifteen but unfortunately the damage has been done. These parents should be working together and not fighting each other.

      Sir TroLLington Da 3rd In my opinion there is nothing wrong from getting inspiration from where ever you see fit. Especially if it makes you better person for it. For instance. Kobe just died. I thought he was great and always gave 100 percent in anything he did. For me that is inspiration. He gave me inspiration not to give up on certain tasks in my life and jeep pushing foward. Though he is real, I wouldn’t care if he was fictional or not. Everyone has inspiration that stems from somewhere. So yes, even though beth is a fictional character, As I am well aware, I still find that she is and can be an inspiration. On another note. Who is anyone to judge as to where I find my inspiration from??? What? So because beth is a fictional character, can I not aspire to be as gentle, smart, and caring as she is??? Simply because she was written, and not real? Hmm. Okay. Well thanks for your opinions. 🙄

Now... enter the ex gang banger... Dum, dum, dum.... there's more to the story. Glad Deja took responsibility for her part in the lies, etc, but it may be too late to do much about her and Malik moving in together. How do you control kids at that stage of life? @NoMarz Colony To invite the parents over to tell them I don't want your son dating our daughter makes no sense to me, What is the point? And I agree that kids have their own minds and at the end of the day they are going to do whatever they want behind your back. You obviously did not catch that in my statement when I said if my mom said I could not date a certain boy SHE never saw him again. I still saw him without her knowledge.

    • @rogergarrison4271
      @rogergarrison4271 2 года назад +3

      Because that's usually not the end of it. Just because parents say not up do something doesn't mean they aren't. A dinner meeting was actually a good idea, you get both sets of parents involved you can get your arms around the situation. Have a set of eyes on both sides of the situation. They both, especially Maliks mom, just went into hot-headed. But they came out of it with an understanding.

      @@rogergarrison4271 I guess I'm basing this scene on my childhood. When my mother told me to stop doing something it was not open for negotiation. And 99% of the time she turned out to be right. I continued to secretly date a boy she told me not to and I had to see for myself he was bad news. I'm not saying Malik is a bad guy but Beth and Randall feel he's too advanced in his life to date Deja. There was no negotiation when my mom said no. Malik's parents were just as disrespectful acting like Randall and Beth didn't have reason to be concerned about Malik's behavior. I'm sure he's a great kid, but he's still a teenage father. No one would be thrilled to see him on their doorstep. If the roles were reversed and Deja was the teenage mother and Malik was inexperienced, I would expect his parents to be just as wary and concerned. The experiences a person brings to a relationship matters and too many teens get introduced to stuff they can't handle by dating someone too "old" for them.
