    ABOUT THE GOOD PLACE
From creator Michael Schur (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “Parks and Recreation” and “Master of None”) comes a unique comedy about what makes a good person. The show follows Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell, “House of Lies,” “Veronica Mars”), an ordinary woman who enters the afterlife, and thanks to some kind of error, is sent to the Good Place instead of the Bad Place (which is definitely where she belongs). While hiding in plain sight from Good Place Architect Michael (Ted Danson - “Cheers,” “CSI” - in an Emmy Award-nominated performance), she’s determined to shed her old way of living and earn her spot.

Don't misunderstand me, B99 is hilarious, and covers sexuality, and prejudices a few times. I'm just thinking about the shows as a whole.

What occurred to me watching this scene was that somewhere in 1982, while Ted Danson was playing Sam Malone on Cheers, there was a two-year-old Kristen Bell stumbling around a living room and possibly staring at Danson on the TV screen. In 1993, a 12-year-old Bell possibly watched the series finale of Cheers. I bet the last thing on her mind was, "I'll be working with him in 23 years."

I think this is my favorite scene in all of the good place. The acting (especially on Miss Bell's part) is perfect, and the entire series seems to build up to this moment; everything Eleanor has gone through, struggling to become a better person, to ultimately make a 100% selfless decision to keep trying to save humanity in spite of not knowing the outcome. Wish I could watch it again for the first time. Thank you to the writers and cast for creating this. One of the best shows ever made.

As sad as I am that the show is ending, this was 100% the creative team's decision. They decided to give the show a definitive beginning middle and end. A complete story from beginning to finish rather than deciding to drag out the premise perpetually until it gets worn out. And the show is much more tightly written and better paced as a result.

Though it's hard to pick a favorite scene from such a brilliantly crafted and incredibly well-acted series, this scene might be it. So, so good.. Raw, real, and totally out of left field. Anyone who followed these characters' journey up to this point was surely hit hard in the feels by this powerful scene.

I Hope The Judge is put under The: 'Point-System.'
She's no better than any human, and she's actually a lot worse than quite a few of them.
She has infinite Free-Time, with even: 'The Jerimy-Berimy,' Timeline, on her side, and she doesn't use it other than to binge T.V. Shows.
There's no way, she'd get into: 'The Good-Place.'

IDK, the other beings don't really have "free will" in a traditional sense. The Judge, the Demons, the Accountants, the Doorman and the Angels are all made with a singular purpose in mind. The only reason our Janet and Micheal are different is because they both went through countless time lines interacting with Humans that still had some form of will. Plus the Judge does know she is screwed when it comes to the Point System. She went down to Earth and realized how convoluted
      it is.

@@saintbrodee8021 I just find it very strange though, that not only is the System convoluted, but she would probably not get in, Anyway.
She's constantly teasing Eleanor about Chidi.
Not to mention, She's crushing on Chidi, despite she Knows that there's a Good-Chance, he'll end up tortured forever, by a System, She Herself Approves Of.
Not to mention, isn't the entire purpose of hell, supposed to be torturing People, for the pain they caused Others?
Well... That makes The Judge the more hypocritical Thing, in the entire universe, doesn't it? She's allowing a system, where Billions of People, are experiencing the highest-level of pain, imaginable, while she binges T.V. Shows, flirting with Chidi, and teasing Eleanor, not thinking for a Second, about what she's actually doing.
The more I think about it, the more I realize The Judge isn't just a jerk.
      She's actually Evil.

Guys ive figured it out. The real subjects are the main first 4. The new subjects of the experiment are not the ones being tested, they are just being used. The real test is to see how good the main 4 have become and how good they can be in the situations they are in. They are all put in tough spots which proves they are being tested on how good they can be when things are against them or when they are put with people they hate. This explains why Michael fakes the nervous attack. It was part of the plan to make Eleanor the leader. When Eleanor figured out Michael faked the nervous attacked Michael got a little nervous because he thought she figured everything completely. Luckily, she just figured that one part and that was it. Michael acts very strange and serious and seems like her knows something else is going on throughout the episodes.
