ABOUT THE GOOD PLACE
From creator Michael Schur (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “Parks and Recreation” and “Master of None”) comes a unique comedy about what makes a good person. The show follows Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell, “House of Lies,” “Veronica Mars”), an ordinary woman who enters the afterlife, and thanks to some kind of error, is sent to the Good Place instead of the Bad Place (which is definitely where she belongs). While hiding in plain sight from Good Place Architect Michael (Ted Danson - “Cheers,” “CSI” - in an Emmy Award-nominated performance), she’s determined to shed her old way of living and earn her spot.

JASON FIGURED IT OUT AGAIN???!!!
JASON???!!!
This is a low point!!!
Yeah this one hurts!!!
For real, this dude on a roll!
@@JoseMendoza-JAM 😂😂😂
Or is that what you want is to think?
@@red5032 😂😂😂
Or is that exactly what they wanted him to do
I'm not sure which is better. the twist with Janet, or the fact that Jason figure it out.
Jason hahaha
"..but Janet DOES have a thing she **can** say that does make me realise she IS really NOT her."
Jason figured it out? Jason??
Soulmates
Reynald Kurniawan this is a real low point, yeah this one hurts.
"I wish I were saying this in different circumstances but, take it sleazy." Oh that hits different now.
especially how michaels last line was take it sleazy
@@kacperkarp8993 Yeah, that was implied in their comment...
Jason's realisation at 1:59 is pretty subtle but it shows that he's actually not a complete idiot - he actually thinks before acting here.
PumpedUpBricks no he just had to run to Mindy Snt Claire’s sex toy room to grab Dereks Magnetic pink fluffy Handcuffs
Jason rather has some sort of twisted logics. Even the way he constructs sentences.
Michael Bootes God this show is ridiculous and I love it
They really joeyd him in this show
I mean yeah, he's had a billion ideas and only one of them got him killed
I love the fact that she finished off that plate before she even got back
Good nachos are worth it, ALWAYS.
The second Janet didn't say "not a girl" i was already question everything
Khaye M.E yh something was off with her for all the first few episodes with her. testifies to D’Arcy Carden’s skill as an actress
For me i saw it coming when janet insists on making tahani punch john and the double pile on jason when she breaks up with him
Mark Santiago yeah, I remember thinking that part about bortles was unnecessarily cruel.
What made me suspicious (though I still had no idea) was the horse drawing incident. Janet could have made the horse come to life normally, she can make anything. But a badly drawn horse was too hard? Suspicious 🤔
Yeah me too
“I mean it’s fine, but can u eat it at the movies?”- Eleanor 2019
I even noticed when Janet didn't say "not a girl" but I just thought it was a continuity error
I should have given them more credit lol
I thought it shows her progression into being more human
@@tenarzatuanu3738 Me too! I thought that was just her character development.
I noticed it too, I literally paused to tell my family (I was watching the season with them) that I thought that it was Janet who got replaced, because Janet would have made that correction. The MOMENT Jason put the cuffs on, I paused to yell "I CALLED IT!" because I was so excited
The smartest plot twists are the ones they hide in your suspension of disbelief.
chidi is falling back in love with eleanor and you literally can't tell me otherwise i won't hear it
Well he thinks she’s god so that complicates things
@@justinbuergi9867 And that Simone is his soulmate 🙁
@@idontevenhaveapla7224 fair. Plus, Tahani and Eleanor would actually be a cute couple, too. Honestly, I think I'll be pretty happy with whatever the writers choose to do. 😊
As long as Janet stays with Jason, I'll be happy.
I think D'Arcy Carden is one of the best actresses of our time.
I was literally about to reply that she wasn't in this scene, that's how convincing she is as Bad Janet
No argument from me.
Jason is so adorable and Michael is very brave. Or is that what the people in charge of the RUclips channels want us to think
Or is that just what YOU want us to think
or is that what YOU want us to think about, jason
Why did i hear this in Jason's voice...
The actress for Janet is actually an alumni of my high school! She even came back to give a talk to the theater students and it was so cool meeting her in the flesh!
I actually love how Eleanor is as an "architect" she fits so well and she just seems as friendly and sweet as Michael did. It's amazing. I wish she'd been one with Tahani even if it wouldn't have been as good an ending
The dislikes are all the bad place demons, only explanation
There's only one dislike from Bad Janet
Bad Place demons: OH SHIRT HE FIGURED IT OUT!!
@@theaussiemudkip355 ya know they can swear.
But wouldn't getting a dislike from a bad place demon mean they enjoyed it?
It's nice we got to see Chidi-"Architect"Eleanor interactions, between this nice nacho night and Chidi accidentally making Eleanor cry. Makes for their eventual "revelation" that "it's the Bad Place and we're all demons" all the more emotionally high-stakes, since Chidi and Eleanor likely formed a much stronger friendship than Michael and the gang ever did back in Attempt 1. Kinda wish we got to see more of it.
Jason got it this time? Jason? Ok, this is a low point, Yeah this one really hurts.
I wanted the clip to continue with Jason's explanation of how he figured out Good Janet was Bad Janet and Bad Janet explaining how she became Good Janet. Or is that going to be a separate clip?
"Phht! Paint on a ceiling!" Just may be my favorite line so far!
"Jason figured it out? Jason? This is a real low point. Yeah, this one hurts. Ow"
I think “oh, crud-nuts!” was the nicest thing bad Janet ever said!
Literally any minor inconvenience:
Me: 1:26
This makes me crave nachos so much. Eleanor’s right, best thing humans invented!
This show is amazing. Imagine if all this is still Michael's way of torturing them all. Chidi is still in a dilemma near constantly. Tahani has to put up with that reporter. Eleanor has to take responsibility. Jason, well I suppose, is in contest with Derek
O.o what if!???
If that was the case, then Michael Schur isn't near as good a writer as he lets on. Also, big difference between challenges and torture. At a certain point, you have to stop the recursive "all part of the plan" thinking and just accept that the villains aren't omniscient. Michael is Michael, and he's good.
I want it to all be a prank on Michael orchestrated by Doug Forcett, an initiation of sorts for every new architect's first neighborhood.
That would just be the writers trying to pull a fast one on us. I appreciate it that that’s not the case. I think just watching the plot unfold is much better.
lover obviously we know it's not that but honestly imo getting her to actually trust him and then betraying her would have been a huge torture. Hell if it turned out everyone was evil except her that would be the worst. She never trusted or loved anyone on earth so to get her to and then find out it was all a lie would crush her.
Watching Eleanor so happy while talking with Chidi just made me cry like a baby.
when jason called janet "girl", i immediately said "not a girl" and was deeply disappointed janet never acknowledge it HAHAHAHAHA but i never suspected anything
This show is effective in making us doubt everything now.
Honestly Eleanor sometimes makes me actually believe she is god for a second
Chidi is falling for Eleanor and you can’t change my mind
Janet is the one who made the lie detector. She could’ve very well made one that exploded Glenn (since he betrayed them) and made it so that it wouldn’t explode on Michael.
Eleanor couldn't even make it back to the house before finishing those nachos.
I can't believe I didn't pick up on that. I feel like a canyon full of poo poo
Oh man, this whole season is the test, but not only in the way we think. Sure, they're seeing if the humans can be made better in the Good Place, but the Judge is also seeing what Team Cockroach has learned and how they apply it, like whether power corrupts or the sacrifices willing to be made to help others (Eleanor and Chidi separating, Michael in this clip). I'm sure the Judge knew that the Bad Place would interfere, because learning to be good in paradise isn't enough, there needs to be the influence and temptation of evil. And it doesn't matter if she's called or not, she knows what's going on: her assistant is in the Obelisk! He's watching EVERYTHING. We see the Obelisk in shots here and there, but it's not addressed anymore. It'll come into play, just watch.
I'm making 1 final last-minute call, that Michael is a Michael-Suit, and Michael's Actual True-Form, is just like the Other Fire-Deamon, from Previous-episodes.
Most twists can be seen a mile away, but I truly didn’t see that coming! Now I gotta rewatch the previous episodes for those clues!
The part with Chidi is sweet, but I wish they’d kept in where Jason explains how he knew it wasn’t Janet.
“Do u wanna take the rest of those nachos?”
“YeA I do thank u!!”
Lol she finished the nachos before reaching the room
Bad Janet made a demon killing device
They are taking them to the bad place one by one.
"Jason figured it out? Jason?!?"
- Shawn, probably.
I love Jason's occasional smart-brained moments
there are literally just two loll
I hope this show never ends 😭
this is the final season unfortunately
I think Jason is smart in a very unique way.
OMG WHAT IF...(hear me out)
WHAT IF!!! Chidi’s memory isn’t actually erased? Or maybe is, but by some fault he gets it all back, but understanding what’s at stake chooses to stay silent. So he actually still is completely in love with Eleanor through all of this!!!!
I know it could be a stretch..but with all the twists and turns this show has given i think this could be a possibility!! It would make my heart so forkin happy!
Yeah, I thought that might be the-Case! :)
There's some theories going around that Chidi is actually a demon, designed to torture the others from his indecisiveness, and now by having his memory wiped. Remember, when they went to The Bad-Place, Chidi was the only 1 recognized as an actual deamon, named Trent. Upin being spotted, he sounded very nervous, saying: 'Uh, who else... could it be?'
This could be seen as him trying not to lie, but it could also be his attempt at covering up his true identity.
Another theory suggests Chidi is God, and him: 'Having his memory-wiped,' is his way of seeing if the Humans can improve themselves, and others, Without him.
@@carealoo744 wait what? In what episode that happens?
It was the one with the torture museum. Back when Micheal was trying to sneak the group into the good place.
@@laylawindwirth3125 Yes, S2 EP11, or, if you count the hour-long premier as 1 Episode, S2 EP10. )
In one scene when he was told about a party and he turned down and eleanor said why not? He freaked out and said yes. Could it mean he likes her?
Eleanor is right about nachos!
Jason for the WIN!!!
oh my gaaaaaAASSHHH I love that twist XD
That part blew my mind, I hadn’t caught that she didn’t say ‘not a girl’ so I didn’t know it was coming
Jason looks so proud of himself 😭
The only problem I have with this twist is that it contradicts a previous scene where Micheal steals Janet and has to demonstrate to Shawn why he could not just use a Bad Janet. Bad Janet tries to be good for a few seconds and starts melting. So why does she not have a problem in acting good here?
It is mentioned later on that Shawn rebooted Bad Janet so many times that she gained the ability to act good.
@@DJ-cc7dq what episode is that?
Take it sleazy.
Take it sleazy
Why do the bad place people keep cheating? Yeah I'm know I'm to invested in this show
Because they're naughty benches.
1, they're demons they never play fair. And 2, if the experiment succeeds they only get hand fills of people as oppose to getting all the people like they have been since 1496.
When Jason knows something, he knows something.
That one dislike was Glenn.
NEW THEORY: so we saw Micheal change and I believe we saw Glenn change (especially in The Selection series on NBC). Vicky is just like Michael was at the start of the series. Hated humans, Thought all humans were bad, etc. Maybe that is Vicky in a Michael suit and after spending time with the humans she grew a bond with them. That could explain the emotional moments between Michael(Vicky) and Eleanor and maybe that’s why he got so emotional when Glenn called him out on actually being Vicky. I think it will be a good turn for Vicky to be part of team cockroach as well as Glenn and maybe slowly more and more demons will become good and there will be a good demon vs bad demon brawl.
Alright...
That Janet twist was cool.
i just want to see neutral Janet again this is the end of the conversation
Wow Jason figured it out....
His last look at Eleanor before nearly blowing himself up. @_@
I’m willing to bet Michael isn’t really Michael, otherwise he would’ve blown himself up without the big speech.
Robert Alexander Kompouras yeah like maybe the speech was to get Jason to figure out Janet was lying which prevented Michael from blowing up
Kristen behelll!!❤️
2:00 Engage Jason brain....
Jason? Jason figured it out? Jason? This is a real low point. Yeah, this one hurts.
There's nothing you can say to prove it's really you... But you can say stuff that proves it's NOT you
Jason is the real mvp
I'm confused. Didnt Bad Janet state that she marbleized Good Janet? Yet Jason said hes going to get his girl from the bad place..
Still wish we coulda seen Micheal’s true form…
How did Eleanor eat all those nachos?
2:25 Cinderella transformation
Hi me
First response 🤓
With only 2 episodes left I'm sure it won't happen but I actually thought for a moment it was going to turn out Jason was actually god or whatever created everything. Like he knew the system was broken and he wanted his creations to fix it so he set all this in motion and even put himself in it as an idiot to help them but it still be their own doing. There are times he said something stupid but it gave them motivation or some realization they needed. Here he was willing to allow Janet to infiltrate the group but stopped it before it was to late. Also with her being there we now know she actually became a little better and even helped when the judge was going to reset everything. Could be luck, or could be an all knowing beings plan.
Hey, so was Glenn being good or not? He was trying to break the trust between Eleanor and Michael, right?
He knew about the Michael suit and heard the other demons gloating about cheating so just assumed they’d swapped out the Michaels successfully
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh thank you so much now I understand
My cousin and I think we figured this out. We had an idea that Janet was bad Janet, but this is what we came up with before they got there.
Glenn was telling the truth, but so was Michael. Michael is Michael. He has lied, but the first lie was a lie of omission. The second one, as he pointed out, was an inspirational lie. Micheal is still a demon. He wants to help the humans, but lying is just a part of his nature.
But Glenn is also telling the truth. To him, it's not fun to torture people who don't deserve it. That's kind of already there if you saw The Selection webisodes. Glenn wants to play by the rules.
If Michael could be reformed, it stands to reason that not all demons like to be bad just to be bad - they have to have a reason for it. So Glenn wanted the experiment to have a fair chance. But Glenn is also excluded, and he knew about the Michael suit - I don't think he knew about the constantly rebooted Bad Janet.
Therefore, they were both incorrect, but they were also both telling the truth. Michael is Michael, and Glenn wants to help.
Thanks. Lol, when Janet didn’t say “not a girl” my sister actually noticed.
Damn im still suspicious of michael
What do you guys think? Is the current Michael we see actually Vicky? I mean the RUclips exclusive makes it look like Glenn is having a shot at redemption by coming clean, but who knows, the writers have taken us into weird tangents in the past :P
I think it is Michael because he says take it sleazy from season 1
I still CAN'T trust Michael
I bet my left shoe that this is still all a test on Eleanor, Tahani Jason and Chidi
And Michel is THE Michel... the archangel!!
1:07 wait why did Tahani refer you the people as “humans” I know this sounds crazy but maybe that’s a demon in a Tahani suit.
1000% still don’t trust Michael
