  • The boat is getting delivered, I need to get the dock in the waters. It's one of my least favorite things to do. There's just no easy way to do it alone other than muscling it out there. I get the pedestrian door installed!

Nice video. Liked where the homemade door was headed, but I see the merit of the factory made door. My vote is to paint the door red.
    Keep up the great work.

Lake god, give his glove back. Cool stuff, I’m still dreaming of a place on a lake!

Paul, I like the doors to be the same color as the roof, as they're both metal.
Now, if you going to do the wood grain look on the door, then it just became a wood door, and I'm all over the dark brown, wood-looking colors.

A couple of closed cell foam floats makes docks easy. No fighting the wheels. I run a seasonal businees installing and removing docks and boat lifts.

Paul, how good is the generator output? Do you think perhaps the chargers are going kaput because they're sensitive to nonsinusoidal AC waive? What do forums say?
Also, if they're so inexpensive, just buy a 2nd one, without the warranty. Keep both at the cabin, and when one goes dead, exchange that one, assuming of cause that HF doesn't keep serial numbers when you do the swap.
Another benefit is that if you have multiple batteries, you can charge them at the same time and not have to keep the genny running so long.

You are tougher than woodpecker lips the way you are lifting and toting everything around the property. Props.
BTW, how are you liking the strength of the 2nd floor boards? I assume 4/4 boards on the floor? Bouncy or not?

Lol! The beams holding the 2nd floor are 4x6s the actual flooring is 2x4 that I had shiplapped. Not bouncy at all! Really happy with it!

Let's see, you do all the work of setting up the dock, getting the boat out, covering it, just so Son can catch fish and have all the fun. Okay then. Yes, best listen to the boss for color selections.

Paint the door the color of your tractor.
