Thanks for the comment, its high quality, but you pay for it. Like anything in life, nothing nice is free, and if you want something nice you have to pay LOL
Snap on fan boy here. Im sure their equipment is great. Thanks for sharing the canuch version for us. This why i love princess auto alot of rebrands in there for 5x price
The spot Weld drill set the depth and performs the pressure. So you can control how many panels you're drilling through and it takes to fatigue off your body because you don't have to push.
Thank you for the comment. I could see pushing on many spot welds giving you quite the workout, so that makes sense. Thanks and hope you are having a good weekend.
I have those blue point point body clip pliers. They rotated out of my cart. I usually use the snap-on screwdriver type clip tools and if I end up using pliers I use the Steck.
I had this idea two decades too late, but as an individual you could convert one of those old White Industries recover machines or one of those heavy duty metal Snap-on charging stations over to the new refrigerant. Wouldn't be legal for a shop, but an individual can do just about whatever he wants with his equipment. I don't believe the White Indistries unit was even certified when it came out in the mid to late 80s, but it was one of the first recovery machines manufactured. Both of these units were built like a tank.
Great walk through on this flyer catalog. Unfortunately snap on is getting ridiculous on their prices. I get it quality tools but they are just too pricey. Trying to break our pockets. 😢
I have the HD creeper with tilted head rest. Its 15 years old. The vinyl on head rest had cracked and been gorilla taped. I replaced the wheels a few years ago. Its been thru hell and back. I think i paid $350 US doll hairs for it... Im die hard SO. I have an 120" Epic, but im done with them. Im so glad i bought the majority of my tools years ago, cause SO has definitely lost their mind with the prices! There is a difference, don't get me wrong. I believe they have best hand tools. But there's competition nowadays and there almost just good.
Autobody tech here... glue pulling systems are expensive there are some other brands but dent fix is a pretty popular name in the Autobody industry. The plastic stappler is ridiculous i bought a vevor one on amazon for like 80$ canadian it does the same thing. The blue point clip tools i think are plastic i wouldn't buy them i recently got some astro clip pliers they are my new favorite ive got few snap ons and other brands. Also have a snap on palm sander 6 inch one its nice but costs more than its worth i recently picked up a astro 3 inch and 6 inch palm sander and they were both under 200$ and im extremely impressed with them. Most of the the stuff in that catalog is stupid over priced
I think you are right, I heard the sanders were really good, but overpriced. I'm intrigued with the Astro so thanks for suggesting that. My sander is quite old and not a very good one (I think its an old sears craftsman one). I'm not a body guy by trade, I'm a auto mechanic, but I do some autobody work (light work - nothing major) just for a hobby when I'm working on older cars. Thanks for the comment.
@GarageKing you bet absolutely get an astro they feel extremely well made like i am so impressed with them especially for the price. They make 3/16 and 3/32 throw sanders i bought 3/32 ones because my snap on is a 3/16 I'd say if your buying one buy the 3/16 its more aggressive.
You can tell this guy loves Snap-on for its quality, not just the brands name. Thanks for sharing with a non biased opinion!

Thanks for the reply. I was really curious about those as it was the first time I saw them and didn't know what to think. Appreciate it.

You are not the only one, I have had a few ideas only to see them a decade later. We are forward thinkers.
I have had the long magnetic mat for a couple years. It has held up.
Thanks for the reply, I would like to get one and was afraid they would come apart. Thanks

Been eyeballing the hose clamp pliers. Not sure why the flyer says was 72 on sale for 64. When they have been 55 on there website for a while.
This is the Canadian flyer, US sale is the same so once you adjust for the Canadian Peso LOL you should see them on sale in the US.

I hear you, and like you I bought most of my tools years ago. I get somethings here and there, but the bulk of my tools are actually pretty old.

@@Cumminsproject01 Thank you so much for the into !!
500 for a beat gun is CRAZY😂
It is
The snap on tire machines are only 25-30% more than other brand names so they arent to far out there.
True, and good point
he says I’m just gonna put it out there. The jackstands are too expensive. what That whole book needs to be burned.😢
LOL, you are pretty on point there. Everything is expensive, but I thought those jack stands were just on another level.
