Congratulations on the new call sign Rob. I have never heard that many operators working satellites on Field Day. The sport is growing.

Thank you Terry! You are the first to notice. It is my Elmers callsign. He passed 22 years ago and no one ever picked it up. He was a WW2 veteran and is the only reason I passed the 13 WPM code for my General License. He sent code to me via a 2m repeater for weeks at night until I was ready. He helped me build my first power supply, and gave me more advice than anyone else in my early years. I always loved his callsign, and now I am keeping the W0CuteYoungChic going in his memory. Rest In Peace Louis A Blumstengel (1925 - 2002) .

Outstanding pass, Rob! The audio off of that rig is amazing. Great video!

Thanks man! The audio is straight from the internal recorder on the 9700 of the satellite downlink. No processing at all. I don’t even have the audio tuned on the radio. The EQ is set to flat on the receiver.

I was recording the N9WH side of that pass. If you want, I could email it to you.

Absolutely! I would love to see and hear it! If it wasn’t for everyone I speak to I would have nothing to record. The email on QRZ is good. Please send it!

Looks like it was 9700 to 9700 satellite QSO. What tracking software are you using?

Hey Angelo! Thanks for the contact. I am using the CSN Technologies S.A.T. Controller. The black control screen in the video is the interface from the SAT.

Cool. We're using the same controller. It really makes satellite work much easier.
