It's pretty interesting watching a tutorial about combing hair from a man's perspective. I usually watch women since I'm one, but I really like the video! I definitely subscribed. I usually use detangler to comb my hair, because the water turns cold if I try to do it in the shower 😋
Hey, I have very long 4c natural hair. My hair is long enough to reach my chin and shoulders and it's very thick. What kind of wide tooth comb do you recommend I use so it doesn't hurt when I'm combing? The ones I have keep pulling my hair out
@@blair5475 @Blair well, I reccomend a wide tooth comb without those lines in the teeth. The smooth seamless plastic ones. I got a lot from the beauty supply for cheap. And do you comb wet or dry? My hair is super thick and also type 4 with small spiral curls that shrink a lot, I used to comb when damp or wet. But lately I've been finger detangling when wet, stretching it out with braids or twists and then combing when dry, but gently. I treat my hair like its silk ❤ and work my way from the bottom. I really suggest experimenting and finding out how wet, or dry you like you hair to be, and definitely how much force you use. The reason I started watching this video is because I used a very small comb to brush my hair and it didn't move so I thought I had tangled hair, after about 2 mins watching this vid I found out that I should use a larger comb which went smoothly through my hair so I knew that my hair ain't tangled👍
How often should I do this? My hairs is like 2 inches shorter then yours and is 4b/4c
every time you wash
LMAO! You put the def of a comb up!!

Been detangling my whole life being a female with 4c long thick hair. Best way is for me has always been right after a wash using as I am leave in conditioner. I don't like pics they tear out hair if you get a bad brand
How do you refresh your curls after you wash your hair?
That instrumental though 🔥🔥🔥
I remember watching you a while back and god damn your hair got long
You do not have to tell me twice to watch you! LOL. But serious, this worked. Tangles gone and my hair is so soft.
I like to say if yo pick ain't breaking u ain't raking
Pretty damn informative. My hair is a bird nest aka tangled jungle central. I didn't wanna cut it so I will try this first.
What did you end up doing?
@@kennyfr5564 sorry I didnt respond. So using conditioner is definitely a must. Recently my father combed through my hair but wasnt so nice with the knots I had he did get it all out but yes it did hurt. I am sure there is a way to do this without hurting urself. So been looking into a comb that can do so or a technique. I have my hair in twist at the moment.
Did he leave in the conditioner or did he wash it out
if you find out hmu lmao
question does have to be a comb cuz my sis be using a Detangling brush
