Nice crabs! I live right by this beach unfortunately, I don’t have a crab set up only perch/stripped bass. What rod and size reel do you use and how much weight on the snare?
I would recommend using a 9-12ft big water ugly stick with a reel size 6-8000 with 30+mono/braid. For the snare I would use 12 ounces minimum, if the currents moving it then I would try more weight.
How heavy of weight do you need on ocean beach? I appreciate the videos. Would love a quick gear breakdown each video, rod, reel, line, rig setup. Doesn't need to be long, but just to better get an idea of what is working out there. Tight lines.
a lot of small crabs you mean? I went a few trips this season and seems like nothing but 5-5 1/2 inches males... the big ones are not really in yet thats my guess.
Woohoo!!! You guys killed it!!! ⚔️🦀⚔️
@@kencrabslayer thanks! Btw I was using your snares on both of my rods, your snares works great 👍

You got a few. Great area wide crabbing report
Nice job!
On fire 🔥
Do they need to be kept in water with the bubler or is that optional?
Water with a bubbler, they will live a few hours without water or no bubbler
Hi. What was your rod/reel/ line setup you used for snaring? Thanks!

@@Andre-Nader I recommend 12 ounces or more, depending on the current.
