    This is so helpful! I was accepted into Scad and applied in 2022, at orientations they made special codes to use for the regular admissions process, so don’t be scared to email and ask! I would encourage you to apply to external scholarships! I know that’s what everyone says but truly apply apply apply. Every opportunity you don’t take is missed. Look for scholarships that are particular to you, look in your community, etc. There are many unclaimed scholarships each year because no one applies. Even if it doesn’t necessarily apply to you, still do it! You never know :) Also, if you’re going to do loans try to only do federal if possible!

    What kind of portfolio guarantees a full scholarship at SCAD?
    Do they give full scholarships to people just applying right out of high school?
    What kind of 3rd party scholarships do you recommend?

    • @MackenzieMarie
      @MackenzieMarie  Год назад +3

      Hello, I don't think any specific portfolio guarantees a full scholarship. The school picks certain students to interview and the process begins there. And yes there are full scholarships for undergrads as well. I would recommend looking any and everywhere for 3rd party scholarships. Try looking locally, and also for scholarships that are specific to your field of study.

      2) SCAD does offer classes in the summer, both online and in person (and abroad). As far as getting freedom in the animation classes in the summer I am not sure about that as I do not study animation but a success advisor or admissions advisor should have more information on that.
      3) We do have a Creative Business Leadership degree at SCAD, I'd encourage you to look that up and see the kind of classes they offer. :) Hope that helps.
