The one piece gigantic windshield is a rock catcher. I replace 1 per year to pass inspection on a 567. $500 per windshield. No way, I’d rather have a split windshield
Happy to help you add some debt. Haha. Give me a call if you are interested. We have 589s available on the ground and can customer order for you as well.
I hope the customizers hurry up with the classic treatments. My company ordered new trucks and the last shipment in Jan were 389s. Getting another this week and I get the first one which turns out to be the new 589!
Multiple vendors are working to get custom products out for the 589. Should see plenty of custom options from cab & sleeper panels, breather lights, drop visors and more soon.
What's the price difference between the outgoing 389 and the new 589 equipped and spec'd the same way, is it more or less some inquiring minds want to know.
It will all come down to the spec, William. I would say a 589 will be around the same price as last year's 389 spec for spec. Happy to spec one out and get one quoted for you if you are in the market.
YOU only care about the person that PAYS for the truck because it is YOUR Livelihood. So, you would never rip on Anything you sell to keep the greenbacks coming in!!
In the past they did. Trucks these days aren't defined by that. If that's what you like, so be it. That won't stop plenty of buyers making the 589 a sales success.
There no doubt it will sell. Some will say they like it. For me that last great Peterbilt were 379 2000 vintage before the round dash. Relible well built and the only ECM was on the motor. There still running to day. The new ones won’t be in 20 years time.
@Albertapraries2023 honestly, I remember that being said when Peterbilt switched from the 379 to the 389. No manufacturer can make a vehicle model for 30-40 years anymore and they don't want to. It's just facts. 389 is legendary but the manufacturer wanted to move in a different direction.
Beautiful ride Travis.
Thank you, Frank!

It’s beautiful. I noticed the underbody of the cab is not fully painted. Is this something you can do for salt protection?
Good eye. Yes we can paint pretty much anything on site. We have a full paint and body shop.
Great video!
Thank you,
@PeterbiltMotorsCompany!
Sweet looking rig. Love, love, love how our 389 605 with Endurant XD Pro pulls B trains out of our fields. 140,000 lbs worth.
Looking Good!!!
Thank you, Stewart!

Please give us some front view so you can see the stream line of the cab stream line with the sleeper
@gustavosaenz3785 27:43 has a front end view of this 589
Will they offer a roof fairing for the 589 like the factory did for the 389???
Is that Troy Massey truck?
Very nice 589!
The DEF tank should be in the engine bay by default.
i feel like for what it is, it could've been wayyyy worse. It's definitely not as ugly as the W990
Legend? Just discontinued a legend.
Calm down little boy it's just a video of a truck u couldn't afford the chrome on it
Made a legend more legendary.
@@jakebrake1326 I’ll save the chrome for my 379 hand.
