Thanks for the honest review! When we say "edge-to-edge protection", we mean it!
Hey, I love you guys. I used your plates for S17 in Ukraine for 10 months and every single kind of harsh environment. You can imagine I never worried about hitting the deck hard we’re jumping into vehicles we’re getting smashed around the inside of vehicles. Thank you for making a quality product that people can trust our lives with.
hope you make extremity armor like 6x10 plates as those can be perfect thigh and shoulder armor plates
@@JJUkraine have you been shot wearing armor before?, because if so I wonder if the backface deformation is manageable or it's been gruesome and lead to broken ribs and bein crippled.
@@TimothyMark7 not yet, but I use first spear plate backers which adds an inch of padding.
@@JJUkraine thats good to know you could use caliber armor's non newtonian foam trauma pads for more padding since those have known to be good at reducing BFD well
That .22 Sneedmore is pretty sick, might have to get one of those....
I thought .22-250 was nice, but he's getting only 75fps lower than my 26" .22-250 with his shorter barrel.
I think I just found my plates. My main concern is potential repeated impacts with 855a1 and m80a1 since I'm sure it's going to become more relevant with the military having purchased it and it starting to trickle down into civilian hands. I'm not too concerned with someone with +p+ B32 walking through my front door lol. The weight, and ability to stop so many threats, and build quality on this plate seem almost perfect in my opinion.
This really is a good plate :D
That 22 Creedmor is great and I am surprised the the panel handled that 855a1 at 3500+ fps.😮
Wow that plate is really thick and really expensive for lvl 3+/rf2. I would feel more comfortable using a thinner plate with the very similar threat profile and then buy a 3a backer. Regardless the plate is an absolute tank and they did an awesome job with it
It's an absolute tank for sure!
If the armor is "III++" does that mean you need a "+P++" bullet to beat it? lololol
HAHAH :D
From a .338 lapua +p+
Thank you for your research
You bet!
I'm very surprised they are able to stop m80a1 with such a thin strike face, I was under the imression that it was actually about equal to p80...
Indeed, in previous testing, it took THICK strike faces of over .300" to stop it. It must be that extreme amount of PE helping.
Highcom is solid
On the roll out, do the fire so satisfying take if it not appear in the body of the video....
You mean throw it at the end if it's not used in the video?
@@BuffRANGE yes, that take is so satisfying to hear it every video...even if no API bullets are used that day....
Nice! Excellent details. I enjoy watching armor tests. It's always great to see what's available.
Thank you very much!
Excellent review of some excellent plates. Think these are exactly what im looking for. Placing my order now, we'll call it an early Father's Day gift to myself. I know my kids will appreciate it 😅
I dont say it all the time but im glad i found this channle great content and saves the search of plates to replace others thank youc
You are most welcome!
Quad NODs 🇺🇸
Those are very impressive plates . Thanks for another Honest video , catch You next time . Shoot Straight Stay Safe & Stay Well.
Thank you!
RoaR
Draco Meteor !
I wonder how much would their 11x14 3s9m would weigh because that's amazing
spec sheet says 7.6 lb..
@@BuffRANGE zamn thats quite nice
Good video 👍
Thanks for the visit
Man I wish you hit the second plate with B32 API or P80 AP the first shot.
I need to ask Highcom, but I don't see their spec sheet mentioning B32 API x54R, only the X39mm BZ-API.
Impressive. Most Impressive.
I can’t wait to see what the new 6 Max would do with armor with the various bullet weights and speeds
I hope to be able to demo that in the future! I just need the ammo and the gun :D
Have you gotten sponsorship offers for pre workout or protein powder?
I should contact Coach Greg, lol. But not yet.
How many times per week do you train biceps?
Specifically biceps, maybe once a month if I'm thinking about it. They do get used a bit for cleans, pullups, pushups, and everything else in between though.
Any chance of testing the thin level 4 plates? Cannot remember the name. I believe they are 0.7 inches
I certainly could at some point. Highcom seems open to us doing so.
@@BuffRANGEAwesome! Your channel is the best for armor, bar none.
They were the 4SAS7 plates. Thank you again!
oh apex armor solutions I heard those guys are extremely toxic towards people and got in a fight with RMA and resulted in them breaking business ties
What good do you do by spreading defamatory rumors that’s based off of speculation?
@@Riname-K it isn't tho they made a post on that toxic r/tacticalgear subreddit saying they broke up with RMA and didn't want to give info why, but a lot of people said it was most likely them being quite toxic towards others.
@@TimothyMark7because you aren’t supposed to more than surface level information….
Basically it is all speculation from antis then. Did you really had to come here to diss things out?
@@TimothyMark7 What the hell are you talking about? They posted on their own business page they never posted it to subreddits to stir up drama. It seems like you're just reaching and making up bullshit.
RMA also lost the NIJ certification on their most popular plate and its been 9 months without any solid answers. What's the worse offense here? A company cutting ties with another company and making an announcement on their own page that they're not selling the product anymore without saying anything bad about the company? Or a company losing the safety certification on a product they sell thousands of without giving consumers real answers?
Or how about the fact that the only active NIJ cert RMA has now is on a plate they don't make anymore?
@@Riname-K dawg r/tacticalgear is full of people who would sell their grandmother to apex armor solutions, and the fact they got a lot of posts from people saying they need to cut down the toxicity says a lot, even their reviews has been showing this as well, you can just google search and you'll see controversies from them.
