@@Baillie. not as likely, though. Back in the Galaxy S3 days, I had a raincoat on and didn't realize the pocket had a tiny bit of water accumulated in it and I put my phone in there and it was instantly toast 😭 I tried the rice thing but it was game over for that phone

Hi Leigh I’m in the process of going through 15 lbs of very old pennies that my wife’s grandparents started saving and lists of errors to look for. Even our paper money has value and I found a 1 dollar bill that was perfect in the front but the stamp on the back was to high and to far to 1 side. That 1 dollar will sell for around $27 - $30 bucks. Plus my finds too
P.S. are you keeping count of all the bikes you catch. You have to be a world record holder Leigh! Your the best man man for the job Leigh!! You are so lucky to meet Ricky Gervais and his meme Jane! He cracks me up so easily!

Hi Leigh, this magnetic fishing is really crazy. A few days ago I found another 7.65 caliber Beretta pistol that you can see on my channel. 😱
I just want to take a moment to say what's already been said, and more than likely will be said in the future. I didn't know anything about magnet fishing prior to your videos. Nada, zilch! Lol. You've not only opened a new world to me, hobby-wise, but also just passing the time with your incredible videos as well. It's been said surely, but Nikki/Nicki (I hope I'm even remotely spelling that correctly, but you're amazing, truly. Know that :) Your camerawork is great, and your warm personality, when on camera, is contagious). You both are, that being said. Your videos not only pass the time for many of us, but encourage others to magnet fish. It's incredible, honestly. I started out with a small magnet and soon learned that wasnt enough. And, after a handful of your videos (and still going lol) have gotten better despite the freezing Michigan weather. I'll get there!

(thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn

judging by the path he took, it's plausible he stashed them or had a partner take them once he realized what he found. so it's possible they aren't even in the canal but in someone's private collection waiting to be pawned elsewhere.

No, they just took a bag from a car, what they wanted was the laptop. Petty thieves may well have panicked at the sight of guns.
Meeting an idol is awesome and congratulations on that, but think how amazing it would have been to walk back into that man's shop with his amazing and from the sound of it, basically priceless artifacts!? The history that you uncover, my friend, is incredible! And the fact that you clean up the waters while you do it is just the cherry on top for me as a viewer. Very cool! Even on a bad day you pull bikes out of the canal that don't need to be there.
My experience with magnet fishing was recovering a guy's truck keys from a boat ramp with a Harbor Freight magnet that had been in my boat unused for years.
He bought me a six pack of Heineken beer, since I wouldn't accept money.
He got to drive home, I shared my beers on San Diego's Mission Bay. A good day😎
The water level of those canals will fall if someone were to pull the rest of the bike that are left in there out 😂

I wonder if there are other areas where they could have stashed the weapons? Wouldn't hiding them make more sense than throwing them into the water? Check the streets maybe under one of those dumpsters.
We did check around the area, in planters and bins but no luck unfortunately 😃
