@@mdahsenmirza2536 They recorded the audio for lowering windows in the Porsche. It makes sense too, since it's a fpp game and you're in a car. But it could be just for cutscenes too.

what work ? every racing/car game , or most games that includes cars, are doing just the same for years, just nobody is bragging about it.
Only people who really like driving knows how important the sound of the cars is to a better driving experience, it really helps you feel the car and the acceleration, and not even mentioning the clutch change. Not even racing games seems to have the will to do this nowadays. Good fucking work CDPR.
It isn't even people who love driving. Take Battlefield Hardline for example. In that game, when you get in a car which are using real car engine sounds and you're chasing a criminal or running from the cops you FEEL that power. Like you don't think anything of it until you're in the moment and that immersion can't be matched. I'm a sound guy, so that can break immersion just as much as something else but yeah.

problem is, forza has been using many car sounds since they had recorded it for forza 4(which was amazing tbh). Still better than cough cough vacuum cleaner GT5 and GT6

As someone who loves cars, its evident you guys care so much about this. The sheer fact that there are around 40 or more vehicles in the game is amazing. But then you guys spent all this time doing this amazing work for stuff like car audio. This passion for every detail, big or small, is worth it all the way.
As a car fan and as a gamer, I want to thank you CDPR for everything that you have done. Your effort is what defines you, and we your fans appreciate it.

I can't believe they're putting this much effort into the cars alone. They're even trying to get the sound of the windows going up and down accurate. And this is just for one of the more minor features of the game.
I love this side of production for things like games but also animations/sound design. getting those real life versions and tweaking it slightly is awesome

Gotta say, the last Need For Speed game I had fun playing was Underground (U2 was fine, but did they REALLY have to play fucking rap so often?) and probably one of those games where half of the fun was crashing into the opponents to see them blow up in a spectacular fashion (no idea how it was called though).
Meanwhile a certain game that will not be mentioned copy pastes sounds with a bunch of copy pasted interiors, then charges ridiculous prices for the cars in-game like they actually worked overtime lmao

Watch them have a Cyberpunk Online thing, that's exactly like gtav but better in every single way.
If only they had have put half as much work into the driving mechanics as they did the aesthetics and sound design.
Protip: Make sure game features are designed in a way that's fun for the player before spending reckless amounts of money on hiring famous racecar drivers to record sounds for your game.
Edit: (Or famous actors to take the agency away from the player character)
