Cyberpsychosis does canonically directly (but not solely) depends on the amount of cyberwade you rock. When your body ceases to feel human and you realise, that you're just a brain inside a high-tech tin can, you grow more and more distant with other people and gradually start to detest, then be disgusted of them, and finally lose it, deciding that human rules don't apply to you. This is one of the reasons of becoming a cyberpsycho, the truest reason. But it doesn't matter. V will just be receiving penalties because of the physical overload
It's not cyberpsychosis. Idk why this guy said this is coming to Cyberpunk when it isn't. It'll just be game debuffs to health and stuff like that as you upgrade cyberware.
As someone who's only playing the game at v2.02 and Phantom Liberty, I'd say it's one of the best games I've played. I know it's been bad since day one, but I couldn't play it at v1.63 because it ran so horribly, now it runs like butter. They really did a great job with overhauling this game. Running away from cops feels so stressful and I love it. Browsing through mods on NexusMods, I was surprised to see gameplay mods that already have the features I have in the game. Seems like they really listened to the community and got those mods integrated into the game. It's absolutely amazing.
theres still clothing with armour but its not a mod slot, it just comes with the clothing, a basic ballistics vest has 25 armor. theres also a sweater that gives you 100 plus mad respect
They also updated the traffic. police will now chase you in cars making it harder to get away. Updates to store windows, no more blurry boring rooms. They are doing New Game plus. Use your maxed out character in the starting of a new play through.
Not having visible cyberware upgrades or robotic prosthetics like most if the people walking around Nightcity was one of the biggest atrocities to me tbh. And yeah becomig a cyberpsyco was something i always through would be a cool addition.
Phantom liberty DLC is worth the purchase I bought the whole game for my PC even though I beat it twice on PS4 back in the day when it was bad it’s FANTASTIC NOW. I might finish my one run and start another
Idk mates, the way I always played Cyberpunk was just me placing the hackerman cyberware and gorilla arms for those glorious melee kills. And after I watched Edgerunners of course I used Sandevistan.
I wish you could make V look like every other NPC in the game. It’s weird that V is the least modified person in the entire city yet somehow they’re the most powerful. Why can’t we have all the cool cybernetics like everyone else?
The clothing thing is probably the best thing to come with this update, though in my opinion it’s not enough. Change up the whole player and npc levelling system, make it so the player levels up exclusively through cyberwear, as well as removing the horrible destiny style of gun levelling system, Just make it more like gta 5 in general. This would be the best minimum to make this game actually enjoyable, but removing the armor stuff is good enough for now.
I am 29 hrs into a 2.1 playthrough; im maxed out on street creed lvl 38; I’m right before the parade with take; Just completed VooDoo boys arc, went to dog town WAS AMAZED. The expansion seems like it could & with some time in 2.2 & on; will hopefully by the best cdpr expansion ever.
I was on the hype train the hardest ive ever been for this game, I played a couple hours and decided to wait until they fixed it to actually play it, looks like its finally time! 💯👌
My experience is from ps5 so for a few more in detail points, read on chooms. The cyberpsycho is just a random temporary status effect. Screen turns orange and V starts laughing uncontrollably but is about 5 seconds long. As for changing the armor system most clothes r now just cosmetic but certain items like the arasaka tac vest can give up to +25 armor and other clothing pieces have passive effects like inhanced weapon zoom, faster combat quickhack upload speed, reduced enemy detection but overall most everything is just cosmetic and as someone who played at launch this is a very welcome change. Along with now being able to set pre-set outfits to swap between ur saved favorites quickly is amazing. The phantom liberty DLC is definitely worth the $30 not only adding legendary blackmarket cyberwear but new cosmetics that let u look like a shadow ops mercenary (seriously the outfit i got looks so cool) and the story is a bonofide james bond spy thriller (though the main story ending u can unlock from the DLC feels weak the end of the DLC storyline itself was absolutely amazing). The DLC area Dogtown feels much more alive with a better authority presence and random events like orbitally dropped supply caches to fight over and ruling faction covoys transporting equipment. The main bug that may be a returning problem (though i dont remember experiencing it) is sometimes the phone bugs out to where u have to save/ close down the game/ and reload. Weapon levels no longer exist and r now exclusively in "tiers" so no more worrying about finding a favorite weapon only for it to be useless after leveling up a few times.
I got like 50% through the game, put it down, decided to wait for them to fix it, and i'm glad I haven't jumped back in since.. Everyone said it's been 10x better since the multiple patches... but I'm glad I still didn't restart it, and now am waiting for Phantom Liberty to start the game from scratch, feels like this update is gonna fix most of my issues, with all new added content, so worth the wait.
My understanding is you DO NOT become a cyber psycho. Meaning you freak out, rage on everyone and then wake up in some location and don’t remember how.
Lol I actually still can’t wait to play this one day. Glad I have a couple gems waiting like this and baldurs gate and armored core waiting for me. After all the time I spent on cod, eso, battle front 2 and that one week on diablo

@gladiatorgaming2457 allows you to restart the game but you get to keep all clothes, weapons, and skills you’ve unlocked
That car in the starting thing… Love it
They just need 3rd person🙏
there's a mod for it but I assume it will break and need to be updated for 2.0
Cyberware is probably my most favourite feature in the game. From a ordinary human to a full on, killing machine.
Sure hope there'll be a mod removing the cyberlimit right away. I prefereit when it's faulty 'ware, PTSD and other trauma that cause cyberpsychosis.
Its not really psycho but overloading will function like toxicity in Witcher 3 it seems.
“Biggest expansion pack ever.” Blood and wine would like a word.
Not having visible cyberware upgrades or robotic prosthetics like most if the people walking around Nightcity was one of the biggest atrocities to me tbh. And yeah becomig a cyberpsyco was something i always through would be a cool addition.
I wish i could hire celebrities everytime i fuck up
Phantom liberty DLC is worth the purchase I bought the whole game for my PC even though I beat it twice on PS4 back in the day when it was bad it’s FANTASTIC NOW. I might finish my one run and start another
Especially the AI which is... same as before
I wish rockstar made cyberpunk
Idk mates, the way I always played Cyberpunk was just me placing the hackerman cyberware and gorilla arms for those glorious melee kills. And after I watched Edgerunners of course I used Sandevistan.
Ali G: let’s not forget Idris Elbow
That’s pretty cool that they’re polishing the game up even after it’s disastrous launch
I’m glad I waited for better pc parts to arrive before playing
Cyberpunk 2077 became my favorite game ever
Me who’s V is crammed to the max with Cyberware who already acts like a psycho:Haha, I’m in danger.
So were getting features that should've been there at launch 3 years later. Great update.
Had so much fun playing this game while stoned. Sober however it's not so great.
Good to see the gsme finally releasing...
Im glad they're going for the no man's sky approach to fixing the game instead of the fallout 76 route
The crime rework is a mixed bag lol. Like just existing nearby is enough to cause a wanted status.
I just bought the game on sale including the DLC. Thinking I should wait to start playing as Starfield is right around the corner!
so excited, I played this game after it was fixed and fell inlove
Might actually replay cyberpunk now
My understanding is you DO NOT become a cyber psycho. Meaning you freak out, rage on everyone and then wake up in some location and don’t remember how.
That 3rd person mod is wild
In Three words:polish game masterpiece
cyberpunk 2077 is my fav game and always will be
Lol I actually still can’t wait to play this one day. Glad I have a couple gems waiting like this and baldurs gate and armored core waiting for me. After all the time I spent on cod, eso, battle front 2 and that one week on diablo
I haven’t thought of this game in years
Sort of hyped surprisingly
Just started playing for the first time since its release. Id thought the bugs Ive heard about would have been taken out by now.
not only do we get john wick, we now also get stacker pentecost
Me before the update: Wow my clothes are so good, they give me amazing buffs and stats!
Me after: *gone. reduced to atoms*
The game has improved so much.
After this update dropped I literally die more often lol. Most of my armor came from super rare clothing and now sandevistan doesn't have a 2 second cooldown so im not a human tank than can dodge everything anymore. I kinda like it this way, makes the game more challenging.
Imagine Cyberpunk as a open world RPG MMO with RP like RedM and FiveM! 😮
Nice that this indie game is coming out of the alpha version
As long as hacking is still really rewarding you with high damage and having to actually think about what to do next
3 years later, the game seems finally worth playing... but I'll wait for the DLC to drop, just to be sure...
Edgerunners: *picks up Rebecca’s shotgun*
