Also, Tatiana has a pretty massive range of vocal tones and styles and accents. She is like Mike Patton in that she isn't a pure singer or vocalist as much as maybe a voice actor? because her vocals definitely have a huge variety of character more so than a lot of other pure singers
Always get the lyrics for a Jinjer song. Tatiana was a literature major at university and she writes very poetic, deep and intelligent lyrics. I personally think the lyrics are more impressive than the music and the vocals and the music and the lyrics are all top tier. This song is about Tatiana calling out to the universe for a soulmate.
One of the coolest things about this song is that it is the current lineup of the band's favorite song. It's cool to me that the band as a whole loves a song that is very specific and very personal to only one person in the band and that they are all able to connect with Tatiana on a personal level using a song written about herself that has nothing to do with them necessarily. That's the sign of a really good piece of art
Hello. You need to see the live version at hellfest 2021 (from home). The last part with power singing is a lot more "soul touching" than in studio version.
This song is from the same album as Pisces, and this video is a bit older than the Pisces one. Tatiana cut off her dreadlocks before this video, and as you can see, her hair is shorter in this video than in Pisces. This song is of pretty average heaviness for Jinjer, Pisces is below average heaviness, Call Me a Symbol is above average, Wallflower is way toward the mellow end of the Jinjer spectrum. Since you're interested in lyrics, I'd definitely recommend that you have the lyrics pulled up during your Jinjer reactions. I personally still have a harder time understanding harsh vocals (even though Tati's enunciation is way better than most). Also, Tati freely modifies accenting, rhythm of enuniciation & even number of syllables in lyrics to suit the song. Finally, she uses some unusual words, certainly some words that I had never heard before even though I'm fairly well-read.
Dmitry left the Band because he wants to stay with his family in the Ukraine (and not to tour in the whole world). Now he is in the Urkrainian female fronted Band NOAPOLOGY , making nice Covers (e.g.: ruclips.net/video/f2p0xrY4CMs/видео.htmlsi=cKXJpGpZOfh6jdh7) and Originals (e.g.: ruclips.net/video/lSFGxLXDoQc/видео.htmlsi=to6D9C5Wx0_0FoYa) .

I love that, quickly becoming my favorite new band.

Love how you are getting pulled into this amazing band!
Jinjer excels in their live performances. I recommend "Perennial" live at Wacken for a follow up.
Already did it just need to post it.
I think the intro to this song is mimicking CW or Morse code transmission. I always thought that was a clever choice. Reminds me of YYZ
You want heavy Jinjer…Mediator, Sit Stay Rollover, Captain Clock. Seat belts required for these three lol.
This is still one of my Favorite Jinjer songs!
Glad you loved it :) It's still my favorite Jinjer song.

You might like Bad Water. My favorite is Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev
You really need to check out a few of their first songs when they had 2 guitarists and a different drummer. Scissors, Outlander, and beggars dance
Beggars dance is something you won't expect😂!

Jinjer had 4 drummers before Vlad, over the first 6 or 7 years . Dmitriy Kim behind the kit in this video, Vlad replaced him not long after this.
