There is a poison it starts with the glazers. They didn't resign Rushford because of his 30 goals. They signed him cuz he's a academy player with amazing jersey sales. He can be good when he scores but his mentality is not right for the way ten hag wants to play any manager can come in and say "I Wanna play this way." Rashford is comfortable at United he's been there since youth he doesn't need to adapt to the way ten hag plays cuz he knows at the end of the day he will stay so he doesn't work to improve. This is the same issue with Sancho but Sancho isn't from our academy and he doesn't sell jerseys so ten hag can keep him from the team but Rashford I'm sure the board and glazers said no.

Mejbri showed the whole midfield and front line up when he came on. Suddenly there was a player closing down fast, looking for the ball, speeding up play and trying to make things happen. Hojlund was the only other player doing that and he was pulled off. Probably because his energy was showing Rashford up.

At the end of the day, the manager coaches the players and picks the team. The club wanted Erik to be more involved with recruitment, so the buck stops with him. De Zerbi made 6 changes and still played us off the park.

I genuinely believed United could have made it to the level of Man City, Liverpool etc etc but I've finally come to realise we are frauds, and not like I was never in doubt about that, it's just I thought we could fight through that but this game showed me it will forever be the same. The difference is in the attitude and discipline of the players.
Brighton has a good management above the manager, good scouting, players ready to change themselves and play for whichever manager they appoint.
United has a bad management team above the manager, bad scouting, lazy players with lifelong history of dropping their heads down and downing tools, not ready to improve themselves in terms of footballing ability. PR dramas, Ridiculous wages, Player Power over Manager's decisions.

Too many Imposters at United on ridiculous wages with English media ready to provide them cozy supreme protection. These Immature players will never step out of their comfort zone.
All of Brighton goals looked like counter attacks but none of them came from turnovers. Easy bypass of the attack and midfield and nobody could really be bothered to run back. Of course we'll concede goals that way and we can't pick runners. When man city/Brighton/Arsenal loose the ball, their wingers play full back positions. It's essential to be narrow and compact if you don't have the ball but we never do that. To compound that problem, we don't keep the ball well either. It's shameful. I like Ten Hag but I thought Rashford should have been taken off instead of Rasmus. Man city last season on the ball had the most space between their players to stretch the opposition and off the ball had the least space between their players to make it hard to break down. You can't defend when there's big space between your players, you'll get run through like you aren't even there.
This is what Antony offers he always works hard in defence, Rashford won’t even run 5 yards to close someone down

Unfortunately have to concede to the fact that United just isn’t a ‘Big’ club anymore. The only thing that’s big in that club is the egos that a lot of the players have. I can agree that the Glazers and higher management can be blamed but when should the blame start to be put squarely on the players shoulders? They are making a farce out of this once great club. They have that much power that they can openly criticize the club and basically get away with it. I love this club but I’d be lying if I said some of my depression hasn’t resulted in how far United has dropped.

In the early 90s he was doing well, then like 92,93 he was all over the papers about him getting the sack and stuff, and he'd been managing us for 4 or 5 something years by then. I get it man but how often should we be getting rid of managers..maybe eventually you get lucky n win something but it wouldn’t be sustained success . Ideally make those kind of choices end of the second season unless thing really get bad and you do it mid season.

I seen this coming from the pre season. We shouldn’t have gotten a new keeper yet, and I dont see what mount added. He should have gotten players that complimented what we did season before. The Rashford thing has always been that, he doesn’t pass never made the pass when needed. When he signs new contract he goes on a slump.
