The Puzzelpoezen finally did have their appearance at the World Championships now in 2023 (since they did not compete in 2021-Corona and 2022). Their outfit caught attention and they were *really* fast. In the Teams Final they completed two(!) 1000 piece puzzles in a total of 2h 5min 30sec - which is quite a lot faster than the time shown in the video (1h 30min for one 1000 piece puzzle). Congrats, Ladies!
I just finished my 1000 pc puzzle and it took 32 hrs. But I was working by myself and it was mostly a dark puzzle with lots of shadows. I had to use a flashlight to catch all the details.
I hate speed puzzling for myself. I used to do it. Then puzzling by myself without trying to do it faster each time or just hurry up and finish it became less fun and more a competition with myself or anyone I see do it faster than me. So I quit puzzling all together. Speed puzzling ruined it for me. I used to love taking my time enjoying finding a few pieces an hour or sometimes none but the joy of finding the next piece not matter how long it took was fun and no need to hurry. But speed puzzling became more like a job no fun anymore and had to quit. Been 24 years since then and I am back to puzzling but not like that. Only enjoying a slow process and don't care what anyone else says or does it in less than 2 hours etc. I don't mind watching Worlds competition but never again will I do it again myself. The competition over the years took the fun out of it. But I like your videos and fun to watch you all work together is really nice to see. Continue your fun and enjoy it. Be careful try to take more time when no one is looking or waiting for another video. Wish you all the best. Peace.
@MARILYN Sorry but this is beyond our capabilities, but you'll surely find help on the internet. You can also try to contact the Puzzlecats themselves, just search for "De Puzzelpoezen".🧩🧩🧩
Yeah!! Alone is another time. In competitions you are usually alone, and I'm sure they can not do this time with only 2 hands 😂 I take ~5 hours with a new puzzle that I've never done before, and can decrease time if I already know the specific tricks for that puzzle (which I definitely think they know too, to do it in this time!!). That's not impressive at all, it's a performance like magic shows.
With 8 people this is supposed to be an accomplishment? That’s a lot of hands. It should be done in 2 hours if you have 8 people piecing then together.
This is awesome. My grandmother and I do a few puzzles a week and I like the strategies these ladies use. Keep it up!

Puzzles like that, with every square inch having a part of an image makes it easier. Try one with lots of black or blank in the overall image...
No thank you🙂

There’s 4 people…. 8 hands
You clearly don't do many jigsaw puzzles... it's not a simple calculation of "2 more hands = 1/2 the time to solve."
