Firstly I love you make up! And secondly that me for great info💚💚💚
Budgies! Budgies! YAYYYY! 😊😊😊
The ideal diet is a mix of a properly formulated pellet and a diverse mix of veggies, legumes, seeds, and nuts. Not all pellets are made equal and so far on the market, the Harrison’s high potency pellet is likely the best one. Seeds should stay in the diet but the exact type and quantity matters. The majority of the birds seeds should be highly diverse and also sprouted to reduce fat and raise vitamin and protein content. The small amount of dry seed we give is used as a training treat. And the chop of course also should cover all of their different “food groups”. Hope that helps clear up the confusion. Lots of websites are written by people who never went to school to study the science so it’s a crazy out there. 😅 Totally get it that it seems confusing.
Thanks for this! I swear everyone tells me something different, but good to know :)
@@louiandfrank5595 I totally feel you! I know so many people say different things because so few people have actually gone to school for it so they just hear something from someone else and don't know why and keep passing it on. It's rough out there!
I think it is the first time you do your presentation and your birds do not scream hahahaha
My birds get Daily chop, some pellets and some seeds in foraging toys and seeds for training. My 4 birds are also weirdly crazy for lettuce😑. (It is really cute!)
That’s awesome! Loving hearing people feed their birds properly :)
Hello, I'm I would recommend a bigger cage because it's a bit small but I get it that it's hard to find a big cage with the right bar size big if go to school(idk if you do or not) you will definitely need a bigger cage but I get it because big cages are expensive:)
The cages are always open but I agree, bigger the better. Plus they each have their own cage and they are open all day anyways so it’s not too small :)
i want to tame my birds again, i have 3 birds. one of them ive had for almost 5 years, and the other 2 i got together almost a year ago. i haven't had time to tame my "new" birds. but i did tame my other bird a long time ago (she was comfortable on my shoulder and head). i know it will take longer to tame them and earn their trust again. any advice? tankssssss-btw i love your vids your so nice i love your relationship with your birds!
My best advice would be to offer food from your hand everyday multiple times a day and let the birds come to you. Something as simple as chasing them with your hand can break their trust
@@louiandfrank5595 okayy i will try that thank youuy
You and ur Birbs are so cute❤️
I don’t travel much but in the winter I leave and in the summer so I really want to bring him with and it’s not fair just a 2 hour drive and is it heathy to bring him and if it is what could I put in the travel cage (I haven’t got mine yet)
I don’t know much about travelling with birds but my advice is to travel as little as possible. Birds don’t really like moving. In the travel cage I would put their favourite toys and foods
Thanks❤️
What is louies cage? Where did you get it from
I got Loui’s cage from my local pet store. It’s just a rectangle bird cage. You can get them online too :)
😀
help!!!! I have 3 budgies/ parakeets and I have three cages would it be better to separate them? Will it help with training them?
Yes it will help with training to have them sleep in different cages. Just put them in three cages and leave them open during the day
@@louiandfrank5595 Thank you for your help!❤️
HI!
I have a question because I get a bird for Christmas from my grandmother only my mother does not like birds so it stays with my grandmother but will I buy 1 bird or 2?
Get two birds if you can’t spend at least a few hours with it daily. You wouldn’t want him/her to get lonely :)
@@louiandfrank5595 ty so much ! :)
What is that funny sound at 4:59?
What's she saying?
I call it bird growling! Normally they make that sound when play fighting and if they make that sound to me, it’s also a warning because if I go near them, they will bite.
It sounds like a sound racoons make.
I have two budgies and have had theme for a couple of months now. They are pretty attached and I want them to stop relying on each other and start on me instead. An example is when ever I take one bird out of the cage the other in the cage cries and stuff like that. Please help.
I have made a video on taming! I recommend watching it :)
I have three budgies and I have hand feed them one of em I can approach most of the Tim without getting scared the others will sometime most or the time copy the one that does eat and they eat from my hand everytime I put my hand in so if u could tell me hat the nest step is
So once they are comfortable eating from your hand you can slowly take them out. If they don’t want to come out, don’t force them. Even leave food outside the cage and let them come out. You can also try make some sounds and see if they become interested
@@louiandfrank5595 alright thank u so much
@@louiandfrank5595 so I did what u said I’ve been open the cage everyday and putting a treat on the door most of the time only one will get out, or none, but once all three came out, or they eat the millet on the door and go back in, if u could give me more suggestions that would help a lot thank u. 😊
Overtime they will be more comfortable and come out more. Just keep trying to lure them out and make it seem fun outside the cage. You’re making good progress
@@louiandfrank5595 ok now I keep the door open everyday and they do get out and nowwwwwwwww I’m so happy all three of them eat seeds that I pour in my hand and they do stand on my thumb and hand and they eat it from my hand standing on it thanks a lot for all the help, I’m so proud and I’m pretty sure I’m really close to taming them.
loui scream for attention :D
Can we all take a moment to realize how pretty her makeup is if u saw mine it looks like sparkles smeared across my face
Thanks so much❤️❤️❤️
